La Gumera food experience — Restaurant in Ficulle

We ate here tonight with our family (2 kids and 1 baby). Where to start..? There is a lovely atmosphere upon arrival. The menu is fantastic. They say Umbria combined with Sicilian cuisine and that is it, but super special, balanced and actually un-Italian. Don't get me wrong, I love traditional Italian cuisine, but this is another story. Everything was super tasty, try all the appetizers. The topper for me: Sicilian tuna, slow cooked, with onion compote, galapenjo pepper and spinach. One word: wow! We got good wine advice and the price for what you get is rather low. We'll be back...

The place is very cozy, the food is great and price is below average. They make local dishes and also local sicilian dishes. Food is of the best quality, that is valid also for the fish. The owner can recommend the best dishes for the day and the best...

Piacevole sorpresa nel paese di Ficulle che non ti aspetteresti. Per cortesia e simpatia rappresenta una "università"!!! Prodotti usati nella preparazione di qualità ottima. Qualche piccolissimo "neo" nella tecnica di preparazione dei piatti...(ma io sono "pignolo") per il resto veramente ottimo. Una sinergia fra prodotti siciliani e prodotti umbri veramente bilanciata....almeno per quello che ho mangiato io. Vini....ampia scelta...siciliani e umbri. Un plauso particolare al dessert...una mousse al marsala e zafferano....SPAZIALE!!!! Rapporto qualità prezzo molto buono. Bravi!!!!!
