Cercavo Giobatta — Restaurant in Finale Ligure

Our recent experience at this establishment was nothing short of disgraceful. We were a party of six, dining in good spirits and spending a significant amount of money — only to be met with arrogance and outright rudeness, spearheaded by the small, bald-headed ginger man who appears to be either the owner or manager.

Hospitality clearly isn't even an afterthought here. When we politely asked for something as simple as olive oil, the request was flatly refused with a sneer, as if we were asking for gold dust. From that moment on, his attitude toward our table was contemptuous, cold, and condescending. We were made to feel like an inconvenience rather than paying guests.

This man’s behavior was unprofessional, and frankly, embarrassing for any business that claims to care about customer experience. There was no warmth, no courtesy, no trace of basic decency — just a toxic ego in a shiny scalp acting like he was doing us a favor by letting us dine there.

Restaurants thrive on atmosphere and service. If this man is the face of the place, it's no wonder it reeks of entitlement and disdain. I would never recommend this place to anyone looking for an enjoyable dining experience. Spend your money elsewhere — where your presence is appreciated,...

Disappointed. Overpriced for relatively small portions. Taste of the food wasn’t anything special. There was sand (or some other form of dirt) in the salad which made it unpleasant to chew. Bread and breadsticks were stale and old. Whine was good though. Service wasn’t, not when compared to other places...

Wir sind zufällig in diesem Restaurant gelandet ohne Reservierung. Es ist uns aufgefallen da es sehr gemütlich aussah und noch Tische frei waren. Zuerst wurden wir vermutlich vom Inhaber bedient - der wie in den anderen Rezensionen beschrieben nicht sehr freundlich war. Er hat nicht verstanden, dass wir noch Zeit brauchen um den Primi zu wählen und hat uns bei Bestellung der Vorspeise die Karten weggenommen. Wir haben dann online nach dem Menü gesucht und bei einer anderen Bedienung unsere Bestellung aufgegeben, die uns anschließend sehr zuvorkommend bedient hat. Die Vorspeise (nicht auf den Fotos) war sehr gut aber sehr klein. Die Pastagerichte waren gut und ausreichend portioniert. Das Tiramisu sehr gut. Aufgrund des unfreundlichen Inhabers würden wir aber vermutlich nicht mehr kommen - dafür gibt es genügend...
