Moriggi Milano — Restaurant in Milan

Last night, the seven of us had dinner at Taverna Morigi della 19 in Milan — and it was just a great evening.

The food was fantastic, and the place itself has such a special atmosphere. It’s an old, beautiful restaurant, and they gave us a round table in a quiet corner, which made it really easy to talk and enjoy the evening together.

Simon, our waiter, was helpful, attentive, and simply a great waiter — everything you’d hope for.

Risorge dalle ceneri la fenice della taverna Moriggi, storico luogo della vecchia Milano, distrutto dalla precedente gestione e rinnovato con gusto, sobrietà e calore. Mia figlia ed io siamo state accolte dal personale di servizio (Stefano e Luduin) con garbo, simpatia e allegria: preparatissimi, ci hanno guidato nella scelta delle pietanze dal menù, subito supportati anche da Angelo, lo Chef, che in particolare mi ha aiutata a convincermi a provare un piatto unico (il piccione, che mai avevo assaggiato). La cena è stata squisita ad ogni punto di vista: l'ambiente tranquillo e silenzioso in centro a Milano all'aperto, personale premuroso, attento e gentile e allo stesso tempo discreto, le pietanze, dagli antipasti ai secondi, senza dimenticare il pan brioche e il pane fatto da loro, sono state tutte una delizia per me e per mia figlia.
