Ricci - Pizzaioli dal 1963 — Restaurant in Taranto

The third time visited Ricci over the last 3 years when coming for holiday to Taranto. We first tried when the first year wanted to try some local food but the restaurant closed by we choice didn't seemed to hurry to get us a clean table and kept us waiting ages when we decide to run away and arriving to the square just saw this place and give it a go. We really loved it on an evening out with my husband than we made to visit last year bringing over my parents too and this year got back again with my dear mother in law. All visits been absolutely amazing, the staff speaks a good level of English too so you won't be lost. Great pizza, puccia (which is a local thing) burgers and some calzone which they do fried as well which is a bit heavy but something to not be missed. Well recommended great food and service. We recently visited Ricci for lunch and ordered two hamburgers along with sparkling water. The hamburgers were delicious. However, the overall cost for the two burgers and water was on the higher side. To add to the experience, the restaurant faced an issue with electricity, resulting in poor lighting in the room. This impacted the ambiance negatively, affecting our overall dining experience. Ragazzi, facciamo attenzione ai menu' proposti da tutti gli esercenti attivita' di ristoro : hanno imparato a mentire sui menu', proponendo carni o condimenti ricercati ( farine speciali, carni di chianina o podolica con cui preparano hamburger etc. ), spillando quattrini agli avventori più o meno affamati e del tutto ignari. Non esiste una coscienza da parte di questi ristoratori, che hanno capito di poter proporre qualsiasi alimento, spacciandolo per nobile, pur non possedendolo. I clienti vengono convinti anche dalle lusinghiere recensioni che queste pizzerie espongono e, in molti casi, anche dall' anno di nascita della attivita', nel nostro caso 1963.. tutti saremmo portati ad affermare che, se esiste dal lontano 63 , preparera' prodotti superlativi. In realta' il commercio sfrutta qualsiasi espediente per raggirarci. Ieri abbiamo mangiato una pizza in questo locale centralissimo ( 6 persone) ricevendo una impressione negativissima. Una pizza in cui si proponevano porcini e che ha servito pleurotos all' aceto, in un contesto di farina scadentissimo e fastidiosa gustativamente. Fatto notare alla cameriera in modo garbato, ho ricevuto una sdegnosa indifferenza e il pagamento, senza alcuno sconto. Questa e' la pizzeria del 63, che, probabilmente ha cambiato varie gestioni, e affidata a giovani "rampanti" della ristorazione, che hanno capito che gli ignari avventori, mangiano " qualsiasi cosa" essendo " allocchi" in...
