横浜家系ラーメン春吉家 春吉本店 — Restaurant in Fukuoka

This ramen shop is right across the street of our hotel so we went there twice during our stay in Fukuoka. We love those typical vending machines as they have pictures showing exactly what you are about to order. Their pork ramen is a bit salty, yet their pan-fried dumplings were very good, much better than the other ones we tried in other places. They also have sliced pickles on the table as condiment, which is not very common in other ramen eateries. By the way, their service level wasn't typical Japanese. The first time we walked in through the sliding door, we quickly looked for a table and sat ourselves down. Before I could put down my back pack, a guy from the kitchen, about 4m away, asked me, in a blunt tone, to buy tickets from the vending machine, which I was about to do so. WORST SERVICE I’VE EVER EXPERIENCED! Opened the restaurant door and the first thing you get was an unpleasant shout from a rude guy making ramen that starts pointing at the menu saying there’s only 3 things left(2 of them were basically the same thing). We went in at 9pm and that might be the reason but if he did not want to serve us he could’ve just said they’re closed instead of giving us the worst dining experience in Japan. We sat and the man aggressively shouted only 3 /5 can sit because we ordered 3 ( we would’ve ordered more if there was more food to choose from and if he was nicer) … anyways the guy should learn to respect foreign customers too his tone changed talking to the locals (he was still shouting but in a nice way when he talked to us he was shouting in the most disgusting way ever) … wont want anyone to have meet this...

初めての家系ラーメン。

注文の仕方に不安を覚えていましたが、とてもスムーズにオーダーできました。

まず、ベースとなるラーメンを食券機にて購入。

そのあと、テーブルで、麺の硬さ、味の濃さ、油の多さを聞かれます。店内に注文方法が大きく表示されていて、店員さんと確認しながらオーダー。

定番の醤油ラーメンスープをいただきました。麺、硬め。味は濃い目。油は少なめ。

12時すぎに来店しましたが、オーダーしてから着丼まで20分ほど待ちました。お急ぎの用事があるときには避けた方がいいかもしれません😅

醤油ラーメンは、ほうれん草、うずらの卵が1つ、大判海苔が3枚。そして、大きなチャーシューが1枚トッピング。

スープは、とてもまろやか。濃い味が好きな私には、ちょうどいい塩加減。濃厚な醤油豚骨です。

麺は、太いちぢれ麺。ちゃんぽんの麺みたいです。硬めでオーダーしましたが、食べていたら麺がプツプツと切れるような感触。この麺だと、普通の硬さがちょうどいいかもしれません。

ランチタイムは、ライスが無料、しかも、おかわり自由と大奮発。

スープをかけたり、海苔で巻いたり、煮卵を崩して食べたり、色々な食べ方を推奨されているようです。

そして、卓上調味料も豊富でした。ショウガ、豆板醤、にんにく、生タマネギなどが並んでいます。とくに、生タマネギがスープに合うと知人におすすめされました。スープとの相性抜群です😆

ただし、スープの量が少ないように感じました😅

ライスと食べることを推奨されているのなら、スープの量がもう少し必要な気がします。

ちなみに、私は小食ですが、定番ラーメンがちょうどよい量でした。

次回来店した際は、麺半分オーダー、小ライスを注文して自慢のスープを楽しみたいです🤗

とにかくメニューが豊富なお店。是非ともまた色々な料理を堪能したいです。

そして、店員さんたちの熱気がとにもかくにも熱いお店です😅

威勢のいい掛け声。まさに山笠のごとし。しかし、感染対策はしっかりと徹底されています。安心して来店されてください。
