Places like this deserve an extra 6th star to mean that they blew even your wildest expectations. It doesn't open until 6pm and seats a total of 12 people, oh, and you also place your order from a vending machine. To me, all of that was part of the incredible allure of the place. From about 5:45 theres a line of people and once it opens they'll have people standing behind your chair waiting to take it, so eat fast! However, don't let that deter you. It's like this because the staff wastes no energy on anything that isn't directly related to making Ramen, so you get a top-quality that I haven't seen elsewhere. They make one kind of Ramen - a pork based one and you either take it or leave it. The broth is so rich an delicious and the other ingredients are on par with that. ...

I ordered ramen with extra nori (seaweed) and negi (spring onions). My bowl came l o a d e d with both, so I'm pleased. I'm not a ramen connoisseur and cannot give expert opinion on the food, but my partner is and he said, "4 stars. soup got a bit overwhelming." Whatever your personal preferences, you'll definitely get beyond-decent ramen here! Official opening time is 1100. We reached at 1050 and the place was already nearly fully seated, with diners already eating and exactly 2 seats left for us. A queue quickly formed after we took our seats. When a place is famous with locals like that, you...

great filling tasty noodles. The ordering process is a bit different to what I was used to. Start by queuing along the back wall to the door. I'd there isn't enough space they sometimes move you down the road to Que by a cone. Very funny. Then use the machine to order noodles plus EXTRA sides if you want. The ramen already comes with pork, spring onions + seaweed. When ppl leave you are seated and hand over your tickets from the machine. When you have finished place your bowl on the top of the counter. Really tasty and interesting place to eat especially if walking from the train station...

The restaurant is small, sits about 10 people, and has only ramen on its menu, but the noodles and broth was *chef’s kiss*. Though I should have opted for the option with less soya sauce as it was a little too salty for my taste. Another review mentioned being served last along others despite arriving early. We also experienced this, but notwithstanding that, service speed was reasonable overall and the food is great.
