A pretty good place. Food is pretty good, but almost everything will have a bit of a spicy kick to it, being Thai and all. The views are nice and they have a pretty deck and little park area right outside the restaurant. A no smoking sign is posted on the deck, but I witnessed at least one old man smoking away in the middle of the park area without a care in the world, so as always here in Okinawa, second hand smoke is likely to be present. The miniature dinosaur museum is interesting, they have a life-size pteranadon (or pterodactyl, I couldn't tell) skeleton posed, as well as some objects in large display cases. A gift shop stocked with the usual Okinawa souvenirs and consumables is right next to the restaurant, and right down the (very steep) road is the Chinen Castle Ruins historical site, completely open to sightseers free of charge. There's nothing extraordinary to see unless you bring a metal detector, though there is a tomb and a spring further down the road that our tour guide said required rappel gear to get to, so that might be worth looking into if you're into climbing & hiking. Overall I'd recommend spending a few hours to take in the atmosphere, rather than just a quick lunch.
