La Florida — Restaurant in Niigata

Homey Italian restaurant. Entering this restaurant is like going back in time. The downstairs has a photo mural made up of famous people, regular customers, and the owner and his family. Upstairs has old newspaper clippings and art culled from a previous generation. The simple salad that’s part of the lunch set was onions, tomatoes, and lettuce, pretty basic fair, but the tangy vinaigrette elevated it. The tomato and anchovy pasta had rich, flavorful tomato sauce as the base with creamy cheese, and the anchovy must have been mixed into the sauce, because it was a very light infusion of anchovy. The Basilico pasta had minced pieces of basil mixed throughout the sauce and had a light, refreshing flavor. The noodles on both dishes were perfectly al dente, and there was very little oil at all left on the plate, a hallmark of the restaurant’s light pasta offerings. The service was exceedingly quick, and my partner and I were never for want of anything. There’s no parking available specifically for the restaurant, but there are tons of paid lots within...

以前一度行ったことのある記憶を頼りにお邪魔しました。 たしか何か名物があったはず、、とメニューを見ながら店員さんに聞いてみると「白いナポリタン」さらにこの日はそのナポリタンがランチでお得に食べれるということで迷わず注文。 サラダとコーヒーセットにして1,100円。 少し早めのランチで行ったので、お店は空いていて料理もサラダと同じタイミングで運ばれてくるくらい。 サラダは濃いめ多めのドレッシングでおかずになりそうあくらい。 ナポリタンは、少し細めの麺がかなりしっかり目に具材と炒められていてパスタというよりは、洋風焼きそばといった感じ（独特で癖になる） 他にも気になるメニューは他にもたくさんあるし、来ているうちにハマってしまうんだろうな。といった雰囲気。 食べている間にどんどんお客さんが来るし、常連さんと思われる方は楽しそうにお話されていて、みんなに愛されてるお店なんだなぁと感じました。
