JHARANA — Restaurant in Osaka

This is a small Indian restaurant next to my AirBB. They have several menus. Look at the larger menu on the tables not just the special. See photo for curry meal deals. The curry meal deal has a strong selection of curry dishes. Each one comes with either a naan or rice, a small green salad, and a small drink of your choosing. The naan is fantastic. I encourage you to take the naan choice with the meal and purchase a side of plain rice. You will save money by doing this. One BIG word of caution….there is a serious breakdown in communication which led to unintended but interesting outcomes. My Google translator and I were not able to determine the language that these employees spoke. We tried Japanese, English, and Hindi. No luck at all. For example, each time I asked a question about something on the menu, the waiter thought I was ordering that item. They ended up making me three full meals when I only wanted one curry meal deal. So instead of paying ¥1.300 + ¥250 ( side of rice) for what I thought I was ordering, I got three different curry meal deals. Which cost ¥3,400 ($23). My family was happy when I brought home extra meals bc they were hungry. I have to stress that all of the employees of this restaurant were very kind and courteous.
