First, I'm an American tourist and lover of all things Japanese. Second, we sought out a traditional Japanese restaurant and found this unassuming sashimi spot based on an international foodie website. Third, we could not be happier. No, the prices are not a bargain, but if you want bargain sushi I can suggest the nearest supermarket or 7-11. The restaurant has two tables and perhaps 8 chairs around the chef's station. Perfect. No English menu. Even better. Omakase kudasai and we were off. Puffer fish. Yes. Chotoro. Absolutely. Baby cuttlefish fish sushi. Bring it on. All delicious. It's as if we were a prized guest in the young owners' home and my wife and I were honored to be there. Toddler and all.
