It was already a big serving and the owners kept offering us and the other people food like fish, more miso soup, and curry. They were so so kind and generous. Read moreWe happened upon this place as we searched for a hearty lunch. We were a little late for lunchtime so the place was empty when we arrived. We were pleased that it was a one man operation. The proprietor was very friendly and generous with the portions. I was craving katsudon and my husband asked him to make whatever he thought was delicious. So for easy reference, they kept the recommended menu in English where the photos of the fried combo dish is attached. The volume is more and tastier. They provide おかわり for rice and soup for free.
