I know what you're thinking...I flew all the way to Japan...to eat Thai food? Yes. Yes, I did. Let's be honest when your Shinjuku bender is starting to come to an end and you just need the best food band aid you can get sometimes just sometimes you don't want more ramen or gyudon. This place is a little tricky to find if you aren't paying attention to the signage on the high rise building where seemingly all the other business in Shinjuku seem to be located. I knew the food was going to be good when I walked in and the entire staff was Thai and the smell. If you're Thai you know the food is going to absolutely slap when you smell it and no, it being 4 am had nothing to do with my judgement. The food was authentic (I should know), delicious, and of course reasonably priced. Would I go there again while the sun is up and not 3 Strong Zero's deep? Yes. Absolutely. 10/10 elephants,...
Read moreWe were craving Thai food and stumbled upon this lovely Thai restaurant in Kabukicho—and we’re so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome. Service was top-notch—polite, friendly, and very attentive. A big thanks to Great-san and the two other staff members who made our visit so enjoyable!
The food was absolutely delicious and well presented. I had a one-plate rice meal for ¥1,760. While it’s a bit pricier compared to other Thai spots in Tokyo, the quality and overall experience make it well worth it.
The atmosphere is relaxing and cozy—perfect for unwinding with friends. So far, this is the best Thai restaurant I’ve found to hang out and enjoy a satisfying meal. The location is super convenient too, just a short walk from Don Quijote in the Shinjuku Kabukicho area.
Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be coming back! Over all rating 5...
Read moreMy partner and I were visiting Japan last month of November and we praise to our friends and family back home that this place is amazing! The restaurant’s ambiance is beautifully set with decor and traditional music. The service was kind and fast. The food was presented gorgeously and tasted just as good as it looked! We were pleasantly surprised. Our favorite dish was the Tom yum soup that had seafood and a variety of veggies. I still crave it to this day and my partner says it’s the best Tom yum soup he’s ever tasted! We also ordered the crispy pork, papaya salad, pad Thai, and two cocktails which were also very yummy. I believe one of our entrees came with spring rolls and a coconut tapioca dessert as a part of a special during lunch. Trust me when I say the food is worth every penny! You can tell the chefs love to cook as well. Look forward to coming back on our next...
