Absolutely amazing place. A hidden gem that you should definitely experience once. I had no idea what to expect nor how to order. (It wasn’t made very clear when booking over the phone) however there are a couple of course you can choose from.
My best advise, However. Is don’t. Just enjoy what comes.
The place itself is tucked away with the inconspicuous entrance hidden in the back streets.
But step inside and it is like being transported to another country.
We arrived at 18:30 and left around 21:45. So it’s a place to go and soak up the environment. Chat with the lovely people you took with you and enjoy the delicious food.
The owner / waiter / chef / everything was a lovely, passionate and very informed gentleman. We had such a great time and conversation. He talked about his culture. How he had prepared the food. What ingredients were included and how that was connected to the history of his home.
From the hibiscus juice and minty herb tea. The Falafel, samosa and meat dishes. Each one was delicious. Well made and well prepared.
We were made to feel very welcome and treated like royalty. It is an unforgettable experience that I highly, highly recommend.
