Our group of eight arrived at this cozy and homey place in Benalmádena. The place was packed so we got the choice to wait 30 minutes or sit outside, we decided that we can sit outside with some drinks and wait for the seats to become vacant. It was really windy and our drinks went flying from time to time and it got really cold, the wait was a bit longer then expected, but the blame can't be put on the staff. They came in to check on us and did everything they could to reduce the wait time which is a big plus. Foodwise however was a little bit of a disappointment for my taste buds. I ordered the Lamb Tikka Masala and Garlic Cheese Naan. As a half-Indian I found the Tikka Masala way too sweet and too little spices. The naan was really good though. Overall great service, but if you are a bigger group of people you should call beforehand if you don't want to wait.

4.5 Stars! The food was great! I got the Chicken Chilli (Curry) and my wife got the Chicken Korma. So very good! Both dishes tasted fresh and had great spices and textures. We shared a serving of rice and it was enough for two. We also got garlic Nan (and I think it had cilantro on it to) and it was yummy! We also had the complimentary popadom (sp?) which tasted like it had mint. With this they served several dips and they were fantastic! I highly recommend this place. Our server was very nice and made sure that we had everything we needed.

Third visit to King of Curries and I have to report that we visited here this week and the food was not very good. Every dish was extremely sweet. Naan breads, too. The garlic naan was like a cracker so thin and crispy. Samosas pastry was so thick. Pakora was dense too. Popadoms were the best part of the meal!! Cheese chicken tikka was ok. We were very disappointed after 2 really good meals before. Maybe the chefs have changed? Very, very expensive too. Wouldn't recommend!!

This place was amazing at first, our favourite by far, now not as good as it used to be. Very kind staff though.

We've been here 4 times in the last 3 months. The first 2 times we thought it was amazing. Freshly ground spices that made the curries rich and intense in all the right ways. So exciting! The third time we thought it was changing to pander to local tasks, and then last weekend it was just incredibly disappointing. Almost everything bland and sweetened. What a hufe shame.

Our takeaway last night was excellent. Chicken tikka pathia (requested hot) was the perfect heat, chicken was cooked exactly right (not dry like some) and had loads of flavour. The passanda requested wasn't on the menu but the chef had no problem making it, also very flavoursome. Pashwari naan really tasty as were the various chutneys that came with the meal.

Great service too. The waiter specifcally asked me to include any improvements to a review; nice to know they are open to...
