We were told that this place was open recently. It has many tables outside and inside the room. The owner‘s English is not that good, but he tried his best to explain the menu, how to use the lard on the BBQ plate, he also offered to change our burnt plate. The environment is good and super clean!!! There is no flies at all!!! Comparing this place with the night market area, this is a huge plus point! The Laotian music in the background makes you feel relaxed. We ordered a set meal with small plate of fish and vegetables, two small plates of beef and two can cokes. It costs about 120,000kip. The meat is very tender and delicious, the beef chest is a must try! The chilli dipping sauce is also very delicious and not spicy at all. Highly recommend to try the sauce. Food were brought to us really quickly, they have many staffs working there. We really enjoyed our dinner there! We will visit again before leaving Luang Prabang.

Hidden gem in LP. The owner is extremely nice. Even though he cannot speak English well but he tried his pasta to explain the menu to us. Beef Chest was great. Food was very nice and the price was very great. Less than 50k kip for a very nice plate of buffalo meat and basket of vegetables. One of the most clean restaurants we went in LP. Nice music as well!!

Something different, a bbq surrounded by a hotpot. Whilst your meat or seafood is cooking, you vegetables are boiling around the outside. You only find this in the East so most enjoyable. Make sure that you are hungry as it’s eat as much as you like. Very reasonably priced and you are surrounded by locals.

We saw this restaurant on Google Maps by coincidence. When arriving the son of the owner explained everything very well and we ordered a mix bbq of pork, buffalo and fish. It was so delicious and the owners (man and woman) were also very nice. At the end of the meal we wanted to pay, and then we got some Lao tea as well. The woman (owner) even invited us to watch the Baci ceremony in the evening. We came back and were welcomed in her family very graciously. We did the ceremony and learned so much about the culture and country with her whole family. We are so great full to have experienced this. Definitely worth a visit and I would recommend this place...

A really local place. We were the only foreigners there. We had a BBQ. It was really tasty. We took a medium mix for two but then added a big buffalo meat. And that was big enough for the two of us. Even if only one guy spoke some English it was possible to order. And the prices are more than reasonable.
