This restaurant serves traditional lebanese cuisine. Located on the rooftop of ABC Achrafie, the restaurant has a very simple design, with indoor and outdoor seating areas. The welcoming was not so good, I hate when the staff looks makes you feel you are entering a wrong place. Anyways, we chose to sit indoors. The indoor area was well air-conditioned. The menu is simple, just traditional lebanese mezzas, grills, and snacks. No clear signature dishes or innovation spotted in the menu. We ordered Fattoush, Hummus, Hendbe, Batata b kezbra, halloumi and habaq kaake, fattet betnjen and salatet raheb. The service was quick. The staff were a little bit rude. In general, the food was tasty but there are some bad points that I will mention. The toasted bread on the Fattoush and the fried bread on the fatteh were not fresh. Read moreAbdel Wahab is a place you can go out to with your family, co-workers, or even friends. This place has an excellent, mouthwatering menu selection that nearly suits its price. The presentation is wonderful, for me personally I loved it especially the black boards and the wooden boards. I find this presentation of food a perfect merge of traditional Lebanese and modern design. The food is tasty to some extent but the grilled halloumi I ordered was not that great. The meat is wonderful very juicy, rich ,and soft. In addition, dessert is also mind-taking and I highly recommend the maamoul flake. Finnaly, the pricing is reasonable and a four to five person meal with 5 appetizers,a salad, moutabal, drinks, grilled meat, and desert will not exceed 140$ , and honestly still a bit expensive but it is still in the reasonable range for...
Read moreI’ve been a loyal customer of Abdel Wahab for over six years, but my recent visit was disappointing. I arrived with my child and requested cheese rolls for him as he doesn't eat anyhting from the breakfast menu , at 11:45 AM, only to be told that they wouldn't serve them before 12 PM because they need to heat the oven. I understand adhering to rules, but refusing such a simple request, especially for a child, felt unnecessarily rigid. This kind of inflexibility left a sour note on what has otherwise been a good experience over the years. I hope they reconsider such practices...
