龙记港式点心 Leong Kee Tim Sum — Restaurant in George Town

The shop next was full and seems having a long queue, so I just jumped in this shop.

It was over my expectation considering its low score in google map. I really like the spare ribs amd the chicken feet and would like to have it for a second time. The shrimp dumpling was not salty enough for me, but taste good after adding some soy sauce. The chickin feet is with sweet spicy sauce, but not the traditional fermented soy bean taste I always see in the dim sum shop, but tastre good

I chose Leong Kee, as I was too impatient to queue for Yong Pin next door, which had more customers when I visited - although the local crowds streamed into Leong Kee thereafter.

Food was mid - but still I enjoyed the more traditional and authentic Penang local dim sum stall environment with spaced apart tables, local aunty servers, paint stripped walls and spinning ceiling fans.

The dim sum here is surprisingly flavorful! The century eg porridge, though small in quantity, with its ginger slices, won the approval of my parents. So are the fried shrimp dumplings and the fries meat ball - both very flavorful, best eaten without any sauce. The steam yam cake was good too, too bad they don't have the sweet soy sauce to go with it. The fried items were a little cold though... it overall still the most flavorful of dim sums amongst the dim breakfast places I've tried these few...
