Located in the city area inside Choo Plaza at Aboo Sitee lane, Off Mc Calister road - the road that brings you to the famous Penang char koay teow restaurant) . Jade Palace is a very good place to organised a chinese set dinner for birthday and function. they have good sound system for karaoke. The food here is delicious. My godmother's birthday dinner always held here, can accomodate 50 over tables. She used to sing in one one of the private karaoke room with her friends here. The fried butter prawns was nice, the fish equally good. The roasted pork was good. The roasted duck was equally good.. The entree of the Chinese set dinner is fabulous. Mango chicken, the sauce make it different with what you normally taste on other place. But I think the old chef already left. It no longer taste as good as 2 years before. This chinese restaurant is located at Choo Plaza (formerly known as Wisma Chocolate) and the seating remained the same as before with a nostalgia era of the 70's. The food is simple, tasty and fresh.
