NON-HALAL. Comfortable environment for a relaxing steamboat buffet. The pork slices were fresh and nice but the beef slices were way better! Chicken in rice wine was perfectly marinated with generous wine taste even after cooking. Their homemade selections (meat balls, dumplings, noodles) are must-tries as they are tasty (note that some might find the meatballs a little bit sweet). Must try their Signature Sauce, unique and delicious! Their signature pork bone soup base is OK, maybe yet to be boiled long enough to be flavourful enough as we were the first customers of the day. However, the tomato soup base was disappointing (tasted like watered down tomato ketchup, fears confirmed as the soup thickened the longer we boiled it proving that there's added starch inside) and I will avoid it forever. Their buffet counter spread is generous with fresh vegetables, noodles, eggs etc and free flow cordial drinks, sauces and soft-serve ice cream. More premium drinks e.g. soft drinks, beer require separate purchase. The staff were attentive and quick to service. I would come here again for a quiet, relaxing lunch amidst a posh neighbourhood. However I think in terms of food quality esp the meat slices, this place falls slightly short of my expectations (vs closest rivals Sukishi). Please reserve in advance to avoid long queues during peak hours (lunch, dinner and weekends). Pros Good environment Attentive staff Recommended foods: pork bone soup, beef slices, chicken in rice wine, homemade ingredients Price is affordable (RM35.90+ for buffet lunch, RM45.90+ for buffet dinner) Cons Tomato soup seems to be like tomato ketchup mixed with water

Been visiting Fei Fan buffet for more than 6 years now before the covid-19 starts and it has been consistently good. There are added more new drinks, desserts, and sauce on the buffet line now including herbal egg, fried nuggets and french fries. We always look forward to dining at the Fei Fan outlet in 163 Retail Park, as it continues to exceed our expectations in every way. Among the five different Fei Fan locations we’ve visited, this outlet consistently stands out for its exceptional service, cleanliness, and food quality. The staff here were always attentive, polite, and professional, which makes every visit pleasant and welcoming. From the moment we walk in, we were greeted with warm smiles and efficient service, no matter how busy it gets. Cleanliness was another key reason we keep coming back. The dining area, tables, and even the self-service sections are always spotless and well-organized, which we truly appreciate. Most importantly, the soup broth at this 163 outlet is by far the best we’ve had. It was always rich, flavorful, and consistently delicious with every visit. The quality never wavers, and that kind of consistency really sets this branch apart. We just wanted to express our appreciation for the wonderful experience we’ve had here time and time again. Thank you to the entire team at the 163 Fei Fan outlet for maintaining such high standards.

I recently visited this restaurant around brunch time, and it was pleasantly quiet with few people. Upon entering, we were promptly greeted and seated. We were asked to choose two broths, which was a nice touch. Ordering was convenient through a QR code, allowing us to select our preferred ingredients. The vegetable section was self-service, which added to the fun of the dining experience. The variety of ingredients was impressive, from fresh vegetables and thinly sliced meats to seafood options. However, we found the broths to be a bit too salty, which made us feel full quickly. It would be great if the broths were less salty to enhance the overall dining experience. One highlight was the taco balls (purple sweet potato balls), which were incredibly delicious and a must-try. The service was generally good, with staff being attentive and proactive. They refilled our broths promptly whenever they ran low. The restaurant was clean and well-organized, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The decor was decent and added to the overall pleasant ambiance. Overall, it was a nice dining experience, but with a few adjustments to the broth, it could be even better. I would recommend it to others looking for a tasty and interactive meal.

After reading good reviews on Fei Fan as a steamboat outlet and having experience it in IOI, we visited again but to 163 Retail Park outlet with a bigger group and set plans for 2 more visits after that. However, upon entry we were hurried by the staff saying 10mins of your 2H is gone when most of the tables are empty. Ordering food here has some delay after 1st order and the service is not as good. Food wise, the pork broth has a weird taste, same goes for the homemade chicken meatball. The only thing that is good is the homemade Pork Ball & wine chicken, which is tasty. The dining experience wasn’t pleasant with the initial hurried statement by the staff, which tend to linger on your mind to eat faster. Even if you eat so little, you can’t enjoy it. Once it come to bill payment, we will expect a cheerful demeanour especially from the Black Shirt Ast Mgr, however he provided a dull tone turned unpleasant tone when informing him there is a BDay person. Probably this is a place for those who can gulp food down, which matches their service being unpleasant to customers who may cause them a loss so for those who don’t eat much better skip their 2 good items and go for a better service steamboat outlet as you will pay as much when eating little. Following this, all plans for Fei Fan has been cancelled for better service...
