*My Terrible Experience at Light Capture Cafe by Hon – Never Again!*😡😡😡 Let me tell you about the worst cafe experience I’ve had in a long time. My friends and I (7 of us) were excited to visit *Light Capture Cafe by Hon* because of its beautiful first-floor view. But what should have been a nice outing turned into pure frustration because of their *awful seating policy, terrible service, and horrible drinks.* *1. The Seating Scam – "First Floor is Full" (But It Wasn’t!)* When we arrived, we asked to sit on the first floor (the whole reason we chose this place!). The waiter immediately said no, claiming it was "full." Instead, he forced us to take a long table on the boring ground floor. I tried to compromise: *"Can we split into two smaller tables upstairs? We don’t mind sitting separately!"*But the SUPERVISOR *shut me down*, saying, *"No, weekends are busy—we can’t split groups."* Excuse me? Since when is it a crime to sit at two tables? *Then I saw the truth.* When I went upstairs later, *there were at least FIVE empty 4-seater tables!*The SUPERVISOR *lied straight to my face!* A waitress even admitted they *fill the ground floor first*—meaning later customers got better seats than us. *How is that fair?!* *2. Rude Service – "Like It or Leave It" Attitude* The worst part? The SUPERVISOR's *disrespectful tone*, as if he was saying: Sorry, this is our arrangement. You may take it or... (with a fake smile) WOW! Is this how you treat paying customers? *3. The Iced Chocolate Disaster – Tasted Like Dirty Water* Since we were already seated, we ordered drinks. *Big mistake.* The *iced chocolate* was *watery, flavorless, and worse than cheap milk chocolate in grocery store.* It tasted like someone mixed cocoa powder with tap water and called it a day. *Absolutely unacceptable for the price!* Again, when I raised up about the drink issue to the supervisor. He shows his fake Smile again and said: Sorry our drinks is not up to your standard. Yeah, that's all. Tolonglah! As a supervisor, do you even taste your own drinks? I paid RM14 for your "iced chocolate" - and guess what? It tasted like dishwater mixed with sad cocoa powder. Even Milo kosong is richer than this. If YOU (yes, you, the person in charge) actually tried it, you'd be embarrassed to serve this to customers. But instead, you just slap on a fake smile, take people's money, and call it a day. That's not service - that's a scam. Stop serving garbage. If you wouldn't drink it yourself, don't make your customers suffer.😠 Avoid This Place!*😡 - *False excuses* about seating availability 😡 - *Rude, unaccommodating supervisor* 😡 - *Terrible drinks* (seriously, just drink Milo at home) 😡 - *Wasted money and a ruined outing*😡 We came for the *view and experience*, but left feeling cheated and disrespected. *Never again.* Save your time and money— this cafe doesn’t deserve customers.

Horrible experience - I normally do not condemn food/service or even restaurants even though they aren’t good but this cafe’s overall dining experience got me really frustrated and I just had to share this.. These entire week was already stressful enough with hiccups here and there and thinking of having a good lunch at this new “instagram-able” cafe on my off day would make the rest of my week better.. but it turn out the opposite. First of all, as we entered the cafe.. it was packed with lunch crowd. (Clearly no social distancing was observed in this cafe.) We were asked to walk ourselves up to the 1st floor for a table by the Manager wearing pink) As we were seated, waited for a short while, before a waiter came passing us the QR code paper to scan for E-menu. Looking at the menu, there weren’t much dishes to choose from, apparently they are still in their soft launch mode!! My cousin and I decided to order the American Big Breakfast. It took almost 40mins for both big breakfast to be served (1st big breakfast came around 30mins and the 2nd came around 40mins later). You can see from the photo that the 2 plates of big breakfast are different - from the ham to sausage and only half a portobello mushroom.. the scrambled eggs were over cooked and tasteless, the baked beans were too salty, the muffin buns were cold and hard.. when we asked for the waiter to explain why the 2 plates are so different, he couldn’t really answer even they he knew the ham and sausages were different and he couldn’t answer why there was only half a portobello mushroom. We then called for the Manager and he came, first of all, didn’t even apologize and was talking they he was rushing off for other most important pressing issues.. this Manager promised to have the ham and sausages changed and add on more portobello mushrooms but these were never delivered. Eventually the owner of the cafe came (man in black as per photo), same thing, he wasn’t apologetic but was rather kind of rude and just mentioned our big breakfast were be on the house and he will have it waived off.. Eventually this didn’t happen when we went to cashier to pay our bill. P/S: other than an Instagram-able place, Service and food 1/10 Value for money: 1/10 Parking: parked our car at an outdoor parking and paid RM11.. The owners and manager were not wearing mask Will we be back: NO

Great atmosphere, very hip and nicely done up building which adds a lot of character. I wanted to give them at least more stars for effort but my experience there was somewhat hindered at the end. Brought my team there for lunch, wanted to sit upstairs to enjoy the view. First thing I noticed that they don't offer menus, just the usual scan the QR code and order your food using your smartphone. Great, less contact and we could take our time. When our food arrived, the wrong dish was served but that was ok, the correct one arrived just 30 seconds later. Portions were small for the price we paid, it also didn't help that the plate they served with was large so it made the disparity a lot more obvious. To scale, my chicken chop was smaller than my iPhone. Taste-wise there was really nothing to shout about and the prices were on the higher side, I guess that is because they thought that since they were in KL they could charge higher. Unfortunately personally I think the quality to price ratio needs a bit more tweaking. The salmon was overcooked, the chicken chop lacked seasoning, it seemed that they relied on the sauce that accompanied the chicken to bring it to life which it didn't at all. Had to make use of ketchup to give it a bit more taste. Probably would compare this to the same chicken chop I get at my local coffeeshop instead which is half the price and a lot larger. Dessert as well was really nothing to shout about, the cakes were just normal, nothing that I would want to order again. Coffee as well was decent. The thing that pisses me off was that after asking to pay, we were informed that they only accepted cash which was a small sign located at the counter top (note top because if you walked in you wouldn't be able to see the sign). Guy there who I think might be the boss says that they are new so they don't have the machine. Halo, I know how long it takes to apply for a POS terminal and I guarantee it won't take that long considering they have been opened for months. Last time I will ever visit this place again.

Assalamualaikum If you are muslim the one reading this if you work in a cafe is big and best cafe in town. Try to act like one. Be more professional and more smarter. The first floor was okey. They greed me and my friends. That was nice.

But the moment I step into 2 floor oh my goodness. There was an red shirt elder lady was there . Her name is (Lnyda or Linda) was she name. she seem like too stress about work. Linda also quite rude and very loud shouting about something. I do believe you have phone to use it wisely don't shout this is not your house or your kampung. Kindly Use phone while need emergency things don't open your Facebook reels or your gambling game while working is totally wrong. Use your phone to text in the group to inform your staff's .I m not deaf yet. Don't make shame to yourself. When customer ask you can we use the plug on the 2 floor. Tell in the nicely way polity. We are paying money for our food and drinks. Not here to get free food. The way you serve the customer also totally wrong. I was shock when I hear the lady in shirt red said china babi. India and Melayu bodoh. Come on lah if you can't tolerate with this 3 race better you work at forest.

Linda I know you are stress. Don't be selfish person Is a shame don't make others feel bad about this too.

There was 3 lady's on 2 floor. There way 3 guys at the bar. There was 2 guys at the floor on the (1 th floor).

The way you serve the food must be in polite way. Not being such in the rush. Don't ever throw the plate towards anyone. They don't like it. You want good reviews in the social media act like one. Everyone has they own taste how they wanted to be served.

A definition of a work: ANY KIND OF WORK IS STRESSING CAUSE DEALING WITH HUMAN BEING.
