Nasi Lemak Royale Kedah (Bandar Sri Permaisuri Cheras) — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Food was delicious, unfortunately we came in slightly before lunch and some of the options not available just yet. But overall what we had was great options too. Ayam bawang, sedap! Just one thing if can improve, more staff at serving counter - slightly slow service & each customer pun banyak pulak masalah nak makan apa tak plan, it makes the queue lagi slow. We came right before lunch pun a little bit slow so imagine lunch/but hope they have more server during lunch. All and all, everything was nice. Hope for their successful business here...

Orang Kedah here. Glad to be able to eat my hometown food. It’s authentic and delicious by having the yellow rice here. And I am proud they remained the name “Nasi Lemak” instead of calling it Nasi Kandar.

Just to clarify, In Kedah, we all called it Nasi Lemak instead of Nasi Kandar( that’s what the orang Penang called). 😌

Felt really bad for the shop that they had those reviews saying the shop is not selling the traditional nasi lemak instead it’s a Nasi Kandar.

I’m very dissatisfied with the service at this restaurant. The waitstaff seemed unmotivated and inattentive. Although the layout clearly allows for tables to be joined, the staff refused to assist, citing inconvenience. On top of that, we were not approached to place our order until after the staff had already taken orders from others who arrived later. This level of service is unacceptable and needs serious...
