There's no joking, specially on this British Christmas Special Dish - The Traditional One (Only available on Dec 1st - Dec 31st 2020).

Starter dish comes with: Cold smoked salmon, garlic confit aioli, pickle & brown toast. The taste is like a silk smooth texture couple with smokier flavor. It makes you craving for the next dish.

Traditional main course have: Turkey breast, confit of leg, Brussel sprouts, carrots, pickled cabbage, roast potatoes & Yorkshire pudding.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised with the turkey breast surface also the confit leg skin. The winner definitely go to the skin & surface, it's golden brown colour, crispy, buttery, garlic & bit tangerine smell so great, meat are juicy & tasty as well. But, don't forget to eat with the braised red cabbage with cranberries, balsamic & the gravy. They are perfect combination that won't let you taste greasy. The main course portion are very huge & you will feel fruitful until the next year. Eventually, this main course allow 2-3 person dine together。

Final Dessert： Christmas pudding with Brandy sauce was splendid, it is warm & you can taste a lot of fruity & nutty texture. Off course the aroma of Brandy wine as well.

Thanks to Mr. Daniel & its staff hospitality service, you guys are attentive and friendly and the food was marvelous !

There are so many good stuff serve in this restaurant like scotch eggs, lamb, pie, wine & etc. which I want to try after I'm back from UK for so long. But, it was so full with the Christmas Special Lunch that day. Definitely, I will recommend to my other friends and back to this restaurant again !

P/S: Do park your car at BSC during working hours because parking space is seriously limited and is super crowded along all the Bangsar - ...

Traditional Pub Food With A Splash of Fusion

First off, this is a review on their food delivery and not dine-in.

A British inspired restaurant enthusiastic about London dining aiming to transport us back to the streets of London with traditional pub food and a splash of fusion.

Service: We placed the order via a third party app hence was pretty straight forward.

Packaging: Nothing much to rave about with ordinary take away boxes

✅ Bangers & Mash (RM 32)

Taste: The perfect comfort food consisting of gourmet sausages which were slightly charred on the outside, yet soft and juicy within. Rested on a bed of creamy and buttery mashed potatoes, topped with sautéed onions and nicely sprinkled with peas. Complimented perfectly with a slightly smoky brown sauce.

Price: Reasonable 🙆🏻‍♀️

✅ Sautéed Mushrooms (RM 19)

Taste: The mushrooms were sautéed with a creamy and buttery sauce with a splash of chopped onions giving it a sweet edge. Served with a portion of crispy toast. Both the sautéed mushrooms and toast went hand in glove as a wholesome dish.

Price: Reasonable 🙆🏻‍♀️

Recommended? Imagine being curled up in bed on a cold rainy day with your favourite movie on the telly. All you would need then is warm comfort food to satisfy the belly🙆🏻‍♀️

I had high expectations after seeing the restaurant and its decent Google rating, but unfortunately, the dinner turned out to be quite disappointing. We ordered the fish and chips, which is supposedly their specialty. The batter was oily, and the “fat English chips” they mentioned looked more like wedges. Maybe that’s just how they serve it here, but the wedges tasted like they were re-fried and not fresh. The fish batter also had that distinct taste of old oil.

We also ordered BBQ pizza. There were no photos on the menu to give us a visual idea of what we were ordering. The BBQ pizza came with a thin crust. According to the description, it had diced chicken, but we could barely taste any. It mostly felt like BBQ sauce spread over a thin crust with cheese. We ended up going elsewhere for supper as we left feeling unsatisfied.
