A Gem by the Water in Malta: An Exceptional Gastronomic Experience It isn't every day that you stumble upon a culinary haven tucked away in a stunning corner of the world. But that's exactly what we discovered during our recent visit to this quaint, cozy restaurant nestled next to the waters in Malta. From the moment we sat down outside on a warm Monday evening, we were welcomed by a heartwarming ambiance. Now, let’s get to the star of the evening - the food. We ordered Tuna and Grouper, both meticulously cooked to perfection. The Tuna, meltingly tender and beautifully pink in the middle, was a testament to the chef's expertise in honoring the natural flavors of the ingredients. The Grouper, on the other hand, was a symphony of taste, with a crispy exterior that perfectly contrasted its succulent, flavorful flesh. The dessert was nothing short of amazing as well. The magic of this place, however, didn’t stop at the superb food. The service was nothing short of outstanding. Attentive yet unobtrusive, the staff carried a warm, welcoming aura that made us feel immediately at home. Every detail was carefully attended to, from the perfectly timed courses to the personalized recommendations. What truly set this experience apart was the involvement of the chef himself. Making his rounds to the tables, he not only recommended dishes but also took time to explain the menu in a way that reflected his passion for food. This personal touch added an element of intimacy to the evening, making us feel like we were not just customers but invited guests. This small, cozy restaurant by the water has left a big impression on us. It's a must-visit spot in Malta - for not only an outstanding meal, but a memorable dining experience that lingers long after the plates have been cleared. Bravo!

The bistro is a family-run business. There are only a few tables and I would've preferred to sit outside, but unfortunately all the tables were taken, so we were seated inside. It was very warm but not too much of an issue. The staff was very nice and wholesome, the chef personally came out of the kitchen to explain the specials and dishes of the day. The bistro was very busy, therefore it took quite some time for the food to be served, but even though we said it was no issue, the staff apologized several times. The food was priced very fairly and tasty, we had the Panzerotti, which were very good and the Spaghetti Bolognese, which was good, although it could've used a little bit more seasoning. Overall i would absolutely recommend going here as they serve good food for a fair price and especially because of the very nice staff which was the main reason for the 5*

I wish my photos did this meal justice, everything was amazing! All the staff were incredibly nice and the chef Joseph took our order personally and made some great recommendations. We went back the next morning for breakfast and his father served us a lovely breakfast with incredible hospitality. Even when I mixed up my payment he was so kind and turned what could have been an embarrassing experience into a pleasant and memorable one! (We got him paid properly in the end lol). Definitely visit this family run business 💕

Staff was very welcoming, I was able to enjoy my meal outside and the prices are fair. The bruschetta was tasty and the chocolate fondant very good as well. The only thing that keeps me from giving the last star is the caprese & avocado salad - it looked so good but I was a bit disappointed about the lack of taste, the avocado wasn't ripe enough and a vinaigrette would be a nice addition (to my taste at least!). I'd still go again, but maybe try another main dish or check the avocado first! :)

This place came highly recommend by my Airbnb hosts. They were right. I had the Penne Alla Malta, a unique Italian dish with a Maltese twist. It was 5 stars without a doubt. They serve a combination of Italian and Maltese dishes and a good selection of seafood. The shelf will come out to tell you the special seafood selection of the day. Amazing experience.

Family run Restaurant with amazing food and atmosphere. Food here is just exquisite! The Chef himself came to recommend fish dishes. We chose Lampukah (seasonal fish) and tuna avocado salad. Both dishes were just excellent! So tasty, with yummy sides, portions were perfect size, we were happily full. So full, sadly we haven't tried the desserts!
