We ate breakfast - the avocado toast with poached egg and tamari sautéed mushroom were not only a disappointment, but also made us sick. The avocado was a store bought avocado mash which had not seen much avocado, tasted horrific and contained creamed milk (which the owner was made aware of after we asked her to check the container). The little dash of ruccola on the plate was covered with black rotted leaves, making the fresh ones not so appetizing. The blueberry smoothie was delicious though.

We gave the feedback to the owner who apologized and brought us a cup of oats we asked for to soothe our stomach. I had eaten only one bite of the acovade toast due to the taste, my boyfriend half of his meal before he started feeling his stomach.

Although the service was lovely, the food was horrific in terms of taste, presentability and on top of it - it also made us sick. When asked for the bill, the owner came back with the full bill, fully aware of our feedback. We had to give up the idea of exploring Marsaxlokk and area around and pay for a taxi to take us home as we were both nauseous.

This feedback may be harsh, but it's true. Whatever they were doing before or whatever they changed, the food is not as in the pictures of previous reviews and definitely not worth the current rating. I do hope they find back to whatever apparently did make them successful not...

We had the absolute pleasure of dining at this charming seaside restaurant, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The highlight of our meal was, without a doubt, the fried seafood platter, crispy, golden, and perfectly cooked, with each bite bursting with fresh ocean flavor. Equally impressive were the mussels, tender and succulent, served in a rich, flavorful broth that we couldn’t get enough of.

To accompany the meal, we ordered a bottle of white wine that was simply outstanding, refreshing, well-balanced, and the perfect match for the seafood. It elevated the entire dining experience.
