Das Schlimmste am Restaurant ist, das keine Seife vorhaben ist und das im gesamten Restaurant. Innerhalb von 4 Tagen, die wir in Bacalar verbrachten, hat es niemand im Restaurant geschafft Seife bei der Kundentoilette hinzustellen, obwohl ich mehrfach danach gefragt hatte und es hab auch kein Antibakterielles-Gel. Ein Unding in Zeiten von Corona und wenn man Kinder beim Essen mitbringt. Vorallem will ich nicht wissen mit welchen Händen die Leute das Essen in der Küche zubereiten. Wir waren hier zum Frühstück, da das Hotel ein Frühstück inklusive hatte. Das Frühstück war ok, es kam schnell, aber das Obst kam direkt mit den Eiern. Es war auch jeden Tag so , dass ein Kellner sagte Omelette sei inklusive und am nächsten Tag soll es extra kosten. Einer der Kellner verstand uns nicht uns hat das Falsche gebracht. Der Café de ola ist gesüßt und schmeckt nach Weihnachten . Der Kellner Mario war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam ( weil wenig los ist fühlt man sich etwas beobachtet). Ich hatte zum kostenlosen Frühstück mal ein agua fresca bestellt und für 60 Pesos schon etwas viel und die vorgeschlagene Propina/ Tip waren 30. Da war ich etwas irritiert vorallem, als der Kellner meinte das wären 15 Prozent (15% von 60 sind 9 Pesos). Eindeutig konnte dieser Kellner nicht rechnen und auch nicht die Bestellung verstehen. Ambiente ist auch nicht sehr gut im Restaurant und die Toiletten stets schmutzig. Die Empfangsdame ist unnötig und unfreundlich, da sie einen nicht begrüßt oder zum Tisch bringt, da dort morgens kaum jemand isst oder was essen sollte. Ich würde definitiv nicht dieses Restaurant empfehlen, sondern eher den Italiener Bertilla am zocalo, enamora, Christians Tacos oder El Manati.

We loved the tacos here. They have such a great flavour. I actually only took a photo of one of the 3 different kind of tacos we ate. I loved the al pastor tacos, they were amazing. The staff was very friendly and attentive, he even showed and led my wife to the toilet. The prices are totally ok. They have screens were they show sport events (i.e. Basketball), so if you want to watch a game or something - you know where to go.

We ended up here many times. Perfecto! We came for a few days and stayed at Asilé boutique hotel. Mestizos is located in the front. We ate dinner twice after exploring the entire area. The food is amazing. The quality is more than you might expect in a tourist town. We did not want copied American food. Mestizos is more authentic and delicious. They even made a dish to my request for me. The service was like being treated as you were visiting their home. We ended up having drinks here a few nights and were always greeted as though we were good friends. Terminamos aquí muchas veces. Perfecto! Vinimos para unos cuantos días y quedados en Asilé boutique hotel. Mestizos Está localizado en el frente. Comimos cena dos veces después de explorar el área entera. La comida está asombrando. La calidad es más de ti podría esperar en una ciudad turística. No quisimos comida americana copiada. Mestizos Es más auténtico y delicioso. Incluso hicieron un plato a mi petición para mí. El servicio era gusta ser tratado cuando visitabas su casa. Terminamos habiendo bebidas aquí unas cuantas noches y era siempre saludado como si éramos amigos buenos.

Very disappointed. We are vegetarian and always say so immediately. They said no problem. My Marguarita was smaller than advertise and tasteless. I asked to combine additional veggies for the fajita I ordered. Without meat or chicken. I received a plate so greasy With cheese and some Veggies mostly onions and peppers and a few tortillas. Same price as with meat. For a few mushrooms and zucchini added. My husband was a little better. Not worth the money. The music is terrible. Our waiter was nice. But the rest subpar for the price. Great Service the place is very cache place next to the Bacalar plaza appears to be expensive but it has very flexible prices the cochinita pibil tacos is what it's known for but we tired different ones small fair portions for the price but everything works well.. you get what you pay for.. I am thankful for the service by Edwin and the drinks are great. Five stars coming back here next time I visit for sure.. You got 2 margaritas for the price of 1 BUT the food is SO disgusting . I ordered enchiladas with chicken and beans. Chicken was so cooked and chewy I could not chew and eat anything . I said it to the waiter who seemed nice but did not care at all about my satisfaction or not I had to pay the full price + 15 % for tips ( ironic) anyway . I m not gonna argue to have discount or not paying for the disgusting enchiladas I just pay and go .
