Lucky Irish Beergarden — Restaurant in Ensenada

I really wanted to like this place, but it’s just didn’t hit the mark for me. I went with a friend and my dog on a Monday night for beers and food. There are two places you get drinks and food, which didn’t make sense. If you wanted beer on tap it was one area. If you wanted bottled beer, cocktails or food, it was a different area. We stood in line at the bar where you order food and waited 15 minutes for the bartender to finish making drinks for the 2 people ahead of us. There were 4 other employees in the bar area on their phones or joking with each other. Once the order is placed you get a pager. They didn’t serve our two items at the same time; they came about 20 minutes apart. The boneless chicken bites didn’t come with a fork. The pizza was served on a metal pan, no plates. None of these things individually were a big deal, but add them up and we didn’t feel it was all that great of an experience. The location was great, and the ladies pouring the beers were super friendly. I probably won’t go back. There are many better places to drink beer in Ensenada with an ocean view. I’ve ate here roughly 12 times, sitting here without acknowledgement at the moment. Place is never really that busy.. the service is absolutely terrible. A drink glass can sit empty for 20-30 minutes before a server ever comes back. I’d drink 10x as much alcohol here if they would train their servers. It’s unfortunate because I live in walking distance and would drink here daily if they figure out how to fill your drink. I’ve had to leave my table and walk up to the bar to get a drink numerous times rather wait for the servers. Table next to me sent their wings back, not sure the reason. The other table to my left the server brought them Dos XX bottles with the caps on and they had to use the table edge to open the bottles. One gentleman walked in from outside 8 times I counted to ask for service and forks, refills. Etc. I feel bad for the owner, he probably has zero clue that all his “servers” stand around the bar socializing and...

Excelent place one could go to enjoy a good drink and side dishes, accompanied by an otherworldy view of the beach where you can see one of the most beautiful sun-sets in Ensenada. Besides the original Lucky Irish 4, it has a colaboration with different franchises, where you can enjoy whichever one you prefer in one place. The customer service needs a little attention, if I may say so myself. But as a whole, is one of the best places of Ensenada, where you can have a great time, either with friends, or family.
