K'u' — Restaurant in Isla Holbox

Went for dinner, was so disappointing. I asked for a water that never came. I ordered a steak medium well and it was rare. I asked for fries only with sea salt and they came unsalted, because I said “fries with no spices only sea salt” and the waitress assumed “sin sal”, because employees do not understand English. Also they seem to be disoriented in general. this restaurant is priced for a target audience with money and the service should match those prices. At the end comes the bill and I tip 60 pesos. The waitress never left my side during payment which was uncomfortable and then when I give the money he shows me the end of the receipt and says there is a tip minimum. I explained that the water I order didn't come, that the fries were without salt, the steak was raw and in general the service was bad, they had to cook the steak again, never changed the fries. he was lucky to have a tip! I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF POSSIBLE!!!!! Don’t get fool by the nice place. Worst place ever visited. I made a reservation 3 weeks earlier to get a table with beach view and they didn’t have it when we arrived. We had to wait ro get a table about 20 min. When the place was not even busy They just picked up dirty dishes and gave us the table all duty. I had to ask to cleaned. We waited for 20 minutes for the waitress to come and ask if we were ready but we never got the menus. So he bought menus and took about other 20 minutes to come back. Took like 30 minutes to get our food. By the time we get the food the beer was hot, frozen margarita melted, and coke flat because ice melted. THE PLACE WAS NOT BUSY. Food was BAD AND SIMPLE. Beautifully and tastefully decorated with a view of the ocean. Unfortunately I had to speak with 5 servers to find someone who could speak English. If you don't have the Google translate app on your phone, don't even bother going to this restaurant. Communication was impossible and extremely frustrating!!! Nonetheless the staff tried to be friendly. I ordered the vegetarian portabella dish. It was half liquid and mostly the consistency of pudding. I asked for bread since I couldn't stand the thought of pudding for dinner. They then served me what was obviously microwaved spongy bread. I wondered, why didn't they just toast it? It was probably stale, so they microwaved it. Disgusting. I couldn't eat the food. Had to send it back. The service was sooooooo slow it took...
