La Cerveceria is really expensive, but has good food. Every year since they've opened I've dined at this restaurant. But, there are several reasons why I will not be going back next year. First, service doent seem to matter anymore. I feel like they are just trying to "Turn and Burn" the tables. Normally each table gets chips, salsa, and a vegetable medly complimentary before the meal, but this year I had to ask for it. I also noticed 1/2 of the tables didn't have it. Second, presentation has slipped. I ordered a dozen BBQ Oysters and was disappointed because they were haphazardly thrown into a bowl (which allows all the delectable juices to drain). In the past they served them on a beautiful wooden platter. The Oysters are one of the most expensive items on the menu at 349 pesos. I would think that presentation would be important for such a high priced item. When the bill came the server asked me if I wanted to leave a 25 or 30% tip because I was paying with a credit card. I thought, "Are you kidding me?! Why are you trying to bully me or take advantage of me?!" Instead I tipped my usual, above standard 20%. Even though the meal was good, the experience left a bad taste in my mouth. So, next year I will skip Cerveceria and visit one of the many other restaurants in PV.

Stepped off Malecon with 3 others and was met with a lively bartender. He was energetic towards the Mexican Craft Beer scene and they had a long menu. We sat in front of the beer cooler and tried several locals. We also tried a beer with agave and another that was an Imperial that was aged in Tequila barrels. Unique and I glad I tried this in Mexico. We were also introduced to the Los Cuentos Brewery that uses an app to make their label come alive. Lastly, I introduced my friends to Delirium from Belgium. We sampled two types of Delirium Tremens and while I have tried these before, this was their first try. They even served in Delirium glasses! Did not expect this in Mexico.

Had the most amazing Seafood Casserole with shrimp, tuna, mussels, and several huge pieces of octopus that was expertly cleaned. There was a flavorful sauce and it was served on a bed of rice. My friend had tuna. Both were very delicious. The service was excellent and they turned the music down a bit for us. Lovely view of the Malecon and the ocean. Definitely going back!

Great service, prompt on replenishing chips, cucumber slices, and drinks. I had been craving a salad but hasn't found one that sounded good until I came here. I ordered the goat cheese and arugula salad but got it with mixed greens instead since I wasn't feeling the arugula. It was delicious, refreshing, and exactly what I was looking for. The chile relleno was excellent but the enchiladas had a funny goat like taste to them...not sure how else to describe it. My husband said his burger and fries were good. Everyone else at the table was happy with their meal and the location on the Malecon was fun. Higher prices obviously due to location, and being from San Diego we're probably a bit spoiled on the beer arena - my husband didn't find an IPA anywhere he liked much. But over all it was an...

The location and the view were nice BUT our service was quite bad tonight. We ordered burgers and the server asked if we wanted fries or sweet potato fries. Being from Canada and receiving a side with a meal for no extra charge just becomes second nature. When we got the bill, we noticed the extra charge for $110MXN for the sweet potato fries and when we questioned the server, he said that he asked us if we wanted to “add fries or sweet potato fries” when we ordered(which was a lie) and then he just walked away. The burger was also dry and the fries were over cooked. We won’t be going back here. If you’re in the mood for a good experience on the beach in PV, head over to...
