We are a family of seven and visited here for dinner tonight. Where to start? We ordered a round of margaritas, lemonade, and a sangria First, the waitress would not write anything down and had to come check to make sure she got our order right at least three times. And she still messed it up. The drinks were terrible. Just soda water and lime juice. No sweetener added and definitely not a drop of tequila in any of our drinks (not being sarcastic). It wasn't until AFTER we ordered drinks that the manager informed us that the restaurant did not take credit cards. Luckily we had cash. There were 4 waitresses and a gentleman (we assumed was the manager). We were the only table in the restaurant and the entire staff stood next to the table and stared at us the entire time we were eating and visiting. It was very awkward. When one of us would finish a plate (bread, soup, main dish), they immediately swept the dish away so fast we didn't even have time to put our fork down after our last bite. My husband ordered stuffed chicken breast; half of the chicken was uncooked. Mosquitoes were everywhere. The manager brought out a huge fan and turned it on high right at the table so it was blowing all over the food and in my face. The pizza was decent and the garlic bread was good, but everything else was purely average (except for the undercooked chicken and horrible drinks). The icing on the cake was the bill. They used a conversion rate of 17 pesos to the dollar, when we could get 18.75 at the exchange houses. And we paid in dollars! No discount for the undercooked meal, either. We felt like they were taking advantage of us as American tourists. If you are looking for italian food in Cozumel skip this place and head to Rolandis or Guidos. Amazing food and excellent service for...
Read moreWe thought the food was delicious. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because this is the only place that we’ve been to that wouldn’t give us a discount for bringing our own cheese. We are vegan, so we went to Chedraui ahead of time and bought an entire bag of shredded vegan cheese for the chefs at Fratelli to use. Most places offer a discount (even if it’s small) when we bring our own ingredients to the restaurant, but it’s okay. We very much enjoyed our meal and we’d definitely recommend this spot. It was just two of us and we ate every single bite. The sangria pitcher was good, but missing some fruit 😅 We ordered the Spinach pizza (I think they forgot the tomatoes?) and regular Calzone without the ham. It was stuffed with our vegan cheese, mushrooms...
Read moreOrdered last night. The delivery was really fast, but unfortunately there was a mistake with one of the dishes I’d ordered. Within about 20 minutes, the driver had returned with the right dish and even extra bread and my change (I’d prepaid him). Super efficient and honest, this never would have happened in Montréal! I ordered a Hawaiian pizza, which was thin crust (it was actually pita) and delicious. The beet salad was huge, loaded with beets, carrots, apples and other veggies and came with an excellent dressing. The ‘bread’ was a yummy garlic pita. I will definitely be ordering from here again and will also...
