Nanny's Pavillon — Restaurant in Jakarta

This nanny's is probably my favorite compare to the one in gandaria city (taylor workshop theme) or in cilandak town square (garage theme). This spot take kitchen as the theme, having walls covered with bottles of spices. This place has outdoor seating, bar seating (but it's quiet cramp), and normal indoor seating. It was my first time to try spaghetti with squid ink. I thought it will smell quite fishy but turned out it wasn't. In fact it taste quiet creamy mix with aglio olio taste, and no fishy smell at all! But maybe it would be nice to have more amount of the deep fried calamari on top, instead of acting as a mere garnish. The berry puch is fresh, although it taste quiet thick for me, maybe I should order a mojito after all. My friend ordered Ice lychee tea and hubert chicken spaghetti (which supposed to be a fettuccini but they said they ran out of it), and I think It tasted okay, creamy spaghetti, with deep-fried chicken breast on top, coverd in melting mozarella. The only problem was they kind of late of serving our table. I don't know whether it was because of we went there during Lebaran Day or not. There's a moment where I've waited some time for my friend's food even though mine had served, and eventually I had to finished my food because it was start getting cold and my friend's food had not come yet even though we had asked the waiter three times. And we also had to ask waiter around 3-4 times only to get our bill. Strangely enough I don't think they lack of waiters in that place but it took some time for them to...

This Nanny's Pavillon is located in PIM 3 second floor. The ambience is made as comfortable as it can with some jazzy music accompanying the dining experience. Like most of Nanny's, this place is one of the favourites for family dining out as it provides wide-range of menus such as salads (grilled salmon salad, caesar salad, marinated mushroom salad and tuna avocado salad), lite bite (cheesy fries, nachos, loaded fries, pop corn chicken, bitterballen, easy potato, and fried buttermilk mushroom), pancakes (original, nutella, mixed berries, creamy spinach and peanut butter). Surprisingly, I find new Baby Dutch Pancake selection (original, nutella, mixed berries, creamy spinach and peanut butter) to be tested on my next visit as I automatically opted for delicious hot chocolate and bitterballen for my meal this noon. Trust me..their creamy hot chocolate is indeed special and for me myself, I can't find its match anywhere else. By the way, the Baby Dutch pancake do look delicious, as I'm on the verge of ordering one of them while at the same time trying to convince myself that I'm too full to have onother meal. what a dillema. For us who have a hardcore Indonesian taste bud ;p no worries, they provides us with selection of fried rices such as original, Spicy bolognese, squid, salmon, crispy chicken, beef baked rice, tuna and dory fried rices. It is really indeed a restaurant...

I always go to nanny's when come to Pondok Indah. And because i cant remember the last time i eat at nanny's, i go here. Its about 1pm, there are another customer wait to be seated, and i also wait until my seat ready. Then I get seat indoor, near the window to outside area.

I order iced tea and creamy pesto fettucine, my friend order lychee iced tea and hot tuna spaghetti, and for dessert we choose blueberry & cheese roll pancake. Its not crowded, there are still many empty seats but our food come late. My fettucine come first, and then my friend’s spaghetti and our drinks. When our food come, we then told the waitress to make our pancake, because we think it will be late if we ask them to make our dessert when we finish our food (our next table take-away their dessert because it took too long).

The fettucine is yummy, still warm, and creamy, love it. The portion is enough. The taste of the spaghetti also yumm, it has many fish there. The pancake include two pancakes, has cheese inside and vanilla ice cream at top, also with blueberry, the taste is sweet and fresh, also salty. I am so full with their portion. The cutlery prepare in a glass of hot water.
