I have been super excited about this cafe opening up across the road from my house for weeks! Finally got to try it today and it didn’t disappoint - very friendly staff and delicious and innovative coffee. I had the iced coconut water espresso, which was the perfect thing after having a lot of wine last night. My visit to Waikiki Coffee Store was a memorable one. From the moment I entered, the inviting scent of roasted coffee beans filled the air. Love this place, probably my favourite coffee spot in east. Branding is great, vibes are great, prices are great. The only thing I would say is that there can be quite a bit of variation in the baristas. Some baristas are good but quite a few times I’ve had an underwhelming milk-based coffee, and they haven’t gotten the milk steaming/frothing process even close to correct, it’s sort of just all lumped into the cup with very little care.
