Ovenheerlijk Tapas & Pizza — Restaurant in Beek

An experience has multiple aspects to it, which combined come to an overall score

The staff is very friendly, however it seemed that we were "forgotten" for about 20 minutes.. until the manager? Noticed us and sent a staff member our way.

Next to that, we were handed menus, but those were collected back from us, since apparently those were outdated. We had to go explore the internet to find a "current" menu to order from.

However the staff member we spoke to was not aware which sauces come with their own dish, since we needed to show her that ranch was included with the loaded fries.

Then the food itself.. that was absolutely great. Even though the staff was slow serving it, and the place was basically empty, it was well prepared and the flavors came out well.. chapeau!!

So overall, the experience is rated as 3 stars, since some things can be improved still to get a top notch restaurant .

Oh and a tip: Be weary ordering the menu since it could become more expensive than single dishes: a pizza margherita and the nachos come to about 17€ while the same in a menu would be 19,50€

The same pizza with red velvet cake dessert tallies up to about 15€, again, well under the menu prize..

Perhaps the management should put some...

We were traveling though and wanted to find somewhere to have dinner. We decided on eating here for some pizza and a burger… We were the only people in the entire restaurant from the moment we got there, until the moment we left. The food took over 35 minutes to come out which was very frustrating when we only ordered 3 things (2 pizzas and a burger).

The waitress was really nice, but took 15 minutes to get our second round of drinks. We were just about ready to pay by the time she came back with our drinks.

The food was okay but we were just disappointed with how long it took when we were the only customers. After reading reviews, I see why the place was empty.

The restaurant is beautiful and in a great location, but the service definitely needs some...

The ambiance is nice and our waitress was very friendly. Unfortunately we had to wait an hour for our food and my burger did not taste good at all.
