KFC — Restaurant in Horst aan de Maas

Man, I usually love KFC, but the one close to Towerland, Netherlands, was a nightmare. We had a great day until we stepped foot in there. The service was sluggish, they messed up our order, and don't get me started on the sauce packets - they're like Fort Knox to open! Plus, there were flies buzzing around like it was some kind of insect party. We even tried to return some stuff, but their machine was on vacation or something. We just left it! It totally put a damper on what was supposed to be a fun day out.

It's disappointing that KFC no longer serves corn with a knob on it. I recently had it in a paper bag and found it to be dry with no butter anymore. The absence of the knob makes it harder to hold and enjoy, and the lack of butter removes that delicious flavor that used to make it a favorite side dish. KFC should consider bringing back the knob and adding butter to enhance the corn's taste and overall experience for customers. It's a small detail, but it could make a big difference in the satisfaction of their menu offerings.

This KFC location is near highway A67 and at the time we spend time on a Sunday at 7.00pm it was very busy with no clean seats. Really something to be embarrassed about. There is another restaurant La Place where the toilet is located. Strange enough one has to pay to use that toilet when one is eating at KFC. Normally a paying customer can make use of a toilet but not at this KFC. Also embarresing.... I asked a employee how this was possible and the solution was that I had to take something from La Place to use the toilet for free or I had to pay 0.70 cents to use it. The definitiom of fast food is not understood at this location, slow food would be better. Conclusion, one time never again. Advice, go to another fast food restaurant unless you like to eat in a stood. Alltough eating at KFC is a bit like Russian roulette, you never know if there is a clean seat available. The feeling I was eating in a stood I experienced before in Leipzig and Rotterdam. If you are lucky it's clean but there is no guarantee and I don't see any progression that addresses this...

I love KFC and I have been in their restaurants all over the world, but this specific restaurant is by far the worst. I was waiting 30 minutes for a few hot wings and a coke, while the place was almost empty. The staff was very unfriendly and rude, the restaurant was extremely dirty, and a 2€ deposit for the plastic cup was not returned after I finished my meal. I will never eat at a Dutch KFC again. What a horror show.

I can only recommend to the higher-ups of KFC to shut down this place as soon as possible. It is certainly a health hazard to eat in this filthy establishment. It is like you are eating on a stinking garbage dump. I have never seen more wastage in a place like this before. Inside the restaurant are more flies than at an open meat market in a third-world country. The overall experience is so disgusting that it almost feels unreal.
