I recently visited Akbar Darbar, located in Mount Roskill, Auckland, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Not only did they surprise me with hidden charges, but their customer service was also disappointing. I left the restaurant feeling frustrated and genuinely disheartened.

Firstly, the establishment failed to inform me about additional charges for the gravy that accompanies their biryani. It is common practice for restaurants to include condiments and accompaniments with their main dishes, such as biryani. However, to my surprise, I was billed separately for the gravy, which I was not informed about beforehand. This lack of transparency left a sour taste in my mouth and made me question the restaurant's integrity.

First of all i would like to thanks the staff for the best and fastest service,I just made an order on phone and when i went for pickup it was very busy there still i was told my food was ready and packed, just in two minutes the staff came from inside with my order which was nicely packed, I took my food and reached home and was very satisfied with the quality and quantity of the food.

I’m a big fan of Biryani i have tried almost all the restaurants and takeaways in Auckland but after eating Delicious Goat Biryani from Akbar Durbar i was very satisfied and now i have to visit Akbar Durbar everyday for dinner .
