Premium Kebab — Restaurant in Hibiscus and Bays

I used to love getting food from Premium Kebab, as it was delicious and easily the best kebab I’ve had in Auckland. There was a lady who used to cook exceptionally well, and the flavors were always on point.

However, I recently ordered the Iskender Chicken Meal, and I was shocked by what I received. For $22, I got a measly portion of chicken—literally just six small pieces! On top of that, they fried some bread pieces and tossed them in with the chicken. Are they trying to cut corners or what?

To make things worse, the flavors were mediocre, and the guy at the counter didn’t even bother to ask me what sauces I wanted. He just decided on his own and handed me the meal. That’s not how customer service should work.

On the first day of the week, many restaurants in Browns Bay are closed. We were walking along the somewhat empty streets, wondering what to eat for dinner, when we caught the enticing aroma of kebab meat. Following the smell, we arrived at the Premium Kebab shop. I think the menu at this place is very well-designed, as it features many pictures that clearly show what each dish looks like. We chose the Istanbuli fried rice, which had wonderfully flavorful meat, and the rice itself was not oily, with a perfectly balanced taste—not too salty or bland. My son and I love eating kebabs and this place was delicious! We walked in randomly while walking around Browns Bay in the evening and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered a chicken kebab and mixed kebab and they both were stuffed with TONS of meat and veggies (unlike some places where the kebabs look big but the inside is empty).

When we finished eating, the kind female worker at the front asked how the kebabs were and I told her it was delicious.
