Utterly disgusted with the way Mango Restaurant & Bar Nelson treat loyal customers! Orderder a family takeaway last week at just after seven it arrived over an hour later... cold and one meal missing!! Why offer a delivery service if you have no way of keeping food warm?? I made three call to the restaruant asking where our food was and was fobbed of feach time. Theh when I call to say the order is cold and missing a meal im told they can cook another one and deliver....I explained as we are loyal customers they really ought to do more. Just been in to complain and ask for a refund to be told... he could get the chefs to cook a beef curry now!!!!!! seriously a week later??? When will local businesses realise that this time of year it us locals that keep them in business?? The restaurant only had three tables full not like people were queiung out the door, You have now lost loyal customers, who have always recomemend you in the past and brought lots of custom your way. pretty good not too westernised but not 100% traditional super spicey just right for what ive tryed so far. by westernised i refer to the over the top sweetness of most of the mall retailer curries in general. to me both cutting down spice as yes im not used to it and sugar allow to better enjoy the real flavor of the curries. although im sure sugar is still added not as much n its worth it. great staff n speedy service. takeaways available i prefer to call in n just pick up in this case as its a more formal restaurant setting compared to your average kiwi indian takeaway place and i have definately ordered very close to close before and still been ok, arrived to colect as he was taking outside menus in and as im apoligising still been treated with fantastic service and a smile and still thanked for my purchase.. great impression n...

I had butter chicken lunch meal while I was in Nelson for work . It was nice meal and taste was really good. But Second day I ordered for kadai chicken with garlic Naan for dinner. Naan was good , But kadai chicken disappointed me.
