I couldn't say I enjoyed my time there. The pizza was questionable, as it didn't exactly give a flavourful taste, tasted like homemade food (I feel like the pineapple ruined it but it definitely would not have tasted much better than that). The tiramisu on the other hand, tasted better. I am not sure how good it was (as I don't like tiramisu), but according to the friend I was eating with, they said it was good (they enjoyed it). Pricing wise, the tiramisu was slightly on the high side, and it would've been good if they updated their pricings on Google reviews. (Costs over 17 dollars). That's not all, the space is very small, and I wouldn't want to go there if there were more than 3 people. It was very hard to get in and out of my seat, as they gave us the corner table. I personally didn't enjoy my time there as the food and pricing was just not up to par, but the staff were lovely and kind, and I just had to give them a 5 star for service.

I've begun to crave Italian pasta recently and in this city, it's definitely not a common site. Pizzas for sure, but tomato-based pastas you have to search for. Turns out, this tiny little shop has been right near my home all along and finally I had a free night to stop in and try it out. Figured I'd go with the most easy to compare dish, Pasta Bolognese. Al dente noodles which was fine. Quite watery in the bowl between the noodles and saucr, but all good and love the strong oregano aftertaste. Was a filling portion. The garlic bread is super flat, dense, and kind of hard; was hoping for something more fluffy in the middle and crusty on the outside. Prices are pretty high for these single dishes but not totally unreasonable. This truly is a tiny cafe run by only 2 people at a time.

The food at Romani’s Cafe was so tasty that we had to make it back for round two on our way to the airport heading home from Auckland! The Greek salad was one of the best I have eaten matching perfectly with the very yummy Margherita pizza! The tiramisu was to die for, so creamy and delicious! The owners were personable and serviceable making sure your food and your stay were perfect. Thank you for two of the best meals in Auckland! I highly recommend you make this a must stop in Auckland.

SCAM! Spent almost $60 to share an average pizza, store bought garlic bread, and drinks in a plastic bottle worth $3 each which cost us $15 for 2. Almost all of the food was clearly store bought, except for the pizza which probably would’ve been better if it was. Paid $16 for a garlic bread which you can get 2 for $6 at the supermarket, the other $13 only went to topping the bread with Parmesan and basil. Paid $7.50 each for store bought small Keri juices which were given to us in the plastic bottles, we had to pour them into the plastic glasses ourselves. Then we paid around $25 for a pizza which clearly wasn’t made at the time, the lady walked to put the pizza in the oven, then went to sit down again, in no way could she have topped a pizza in that time. The dough was below average, and the toppings weren’t much better. All plates were plastic. Would’ve been thrice cheaper and unquestionably tastier to just have gone to pizza hut , incredibly...

One of the worst places that we have eaten. There is no lasagna although it is on the menu! Not even a sticker that it is not available. Pasta carbonara has cold chunks of undefined tasteless meat. Pasta itself is partly luke warm like it came out of a cheap malfunctioning microwave. plates were half under cold water. Seafood pasta was sour and caused stomach aches. Within half hour my wife was hanging over the toilet vomiting, all came out. I was tempted to catch it all and to return it to the restaurant but I decided to keep my dignity. Honestly don't know where they got the TripAdvisor recommendation stickers from that are on the window. Nor where the other good recommendations on this site came from. Must have been made up by the owner himself or one of his good friends. THIS PLACE IS NOT RECOMMENDED! Maybe a good place for the food inspection to do an...
