I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lagosia Restaurant and Bar and I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a beautiful ambiance.

The restaurant's decor is stylish and modern, creating a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere. The seating was comfortable and the lighting was just right to set the perfect mood for a delightful meal.

The menu at Lagosia Restaurant and Bar offers a range of mouthwatering options, from traditional Nigerian dishes to international cuisine. I opted for the jollof rice with grilled chicken, and it was hands down the best jollof rice I've ever had. The flavors were rich and authentic, and the chicken was perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection.

The staff at Lagosia were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations and ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. The service was prompt and professional, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening.

To top it all off, the bar at Lagosia offers a fantastic selection of cocktails and beverages. I tried their signature Lagosia Mojito and it was refreshing and delicious.

So my boss wanted lunch after a hectic meeting with a Client in the heart of Ikoyi.

We called Lagosia Restaurant in Ikoyi to order 2 plates of Banga soup, white snapper? fish and pounded yam ahead.

This delicacy is prominent with the Edo/ Delta tribe of Nigeria and I was looking forward to it because I've never tasted it.

It was served steaming hot in black earthen pot, the traditional way (the earthen pot is used to preserve the heat) just as I have seen and imagined it! I am not a fan of steaming hot meals but I couldn't miss the experience.

I waited for some brief minutes, then carefully navigated my way through the fish, soup with some ponmo condiments (cow hide) and pounded yam. All the while my boss was blowing air into his bowl 😂😂 with table cloth 😁.

I almost forgot to take a picture 😂😂😂 of it. My meal was halfway through 😋 before I had the courage to do a quick video.

Not my first time in Lagosia, but my first time in Lagosia, Ikoyi.

The interiors, attention to details, courteous service, table settings and delicious meal are reasons I will score 4/5.

Lagosia Lagosia! How many times did I call you? I was there yesterday with a friend of mine, I ordered the white rice, beans, snails and goat meat. My friend had the egusi and eba with goat meat. The food took fairly under an hr. The waiter was super pleasant. The food was nice for me as I played it super safe however My friends a en I food ran our tummy’s bad!

THEN towards our exits from the restaurant as we were packing our takeaways there was a HUGE RAT that ran across the restaurant floor. I brought it to the staff attention who were all super shocked by my reveal of seeing a rat. My friend and I escaped there super fast and waited outside for our ride. Just before our ride came into the car park I watched one of the staff, scream and jump so high to reach a table. This made me laugh cause clearly they all did see the rat and made it look like I was making this up in my head.

Makes me wonder how many are in the kitchen 🥲🥲🥲 Pls fumigate and ensure cleanliness at all times so we can be back
