We first tried to book a table at this restaurant for Saturday evening -after recommendations from our host- but once we called them, we were sadly informed by the lady on the phone that the kitchen is closed for the day. We were a bit surprised, as we tried to book for 20:00 and the place is open until 23:00, but decided to visit on Sunday evening for dinner. We are quite experienced travellers and foodies but the service at La Speranza was pretty underwhelming. Our ‘waitress’ was very rude, making faces whenever we asked questions or just simply wanted to order some sauces. She simply disappeared to the kitchen to make pizzas with the chefs (?) and did not check on us at all after we received our meal. The only positive person was one of the chefs, who did bring us the sauces and asked if we are okay. The prices were confusing, the English and the Norwegian menu had different prices written on them. The pizza itself was good and the ambiance of the restaurant is nice but the service from the first minute really ruined our mood.
