VERY BAD SERVICE. I’ve ordered a fish and after 1,5 hours of waiting time I got my dish, but with the bacon which was NOT stated in the menu. When I’ve said to the waiter that I don’t eat bacon he only laughed on me. when we asked for any solution or apology he resumed silent. My friend kindly saved the situation and changed the dishes with me, even tho he didn’t want to have my food. On top of that, after we were done we have asked to split the bill and got the rejection on it, they said that we were supposed to ask before we were ordering. (Weren’t they supposed to ask if we want the bill together or separately , if they have a system were it’s not possible ?!)
I would not recommend to go to this place, because no one of the staff cared about how we felt. I’ve never experienced anything like this in a restaurant. + it was the most expensive place we have been to in Lofoten. On the previous day we have visited Trevarefabrikken and had pizza there. It was one of the best pizzas and places I’ve been to in general. Awesome vibe and very stylish place. Must...

Wasn't prepared to have to work so hard for my lunch (so many shells) but it was definitely worth it. The bread that came with the pasta was so fresh, and came with butter as well as a small bowl of sea salt that, when sprinkled over the butter, really heightened the taste.
Aside from all the amazing shellfish and fish, do dip your bread in the tomato sauce (when you find it under all that seafood). So good.
Also, the restaurant is clean and fresh, the staff is friendly and efficient but the bathrooms... are insane. I thought the bathroom tried to seduce me with its lit candles, flowers and other decorations. Obviously also spotless and fresh (although the scent sticks might be too much for someone...
Read moreNice staff, food average and almost same as everywhere else. Presentation strange, whale carpaccio overfilled with other flavors, sometimes weird. Fish ok but nothing special. Anyway, the village itself is stunning, it has all you need, galleries, museum, football field, many cafes and restaurants, boat and kayak tours, view points, lighthouse, bridges, nearby hikes. Very nice place to visit, between Svolvaer and Viking museum. Highly recommended, just different food...
