Cafe Dahlia — Restaurant in Bustos

Owner was very approachable and friendly! She offered us her new dishes for us to taste, on the house! Too bad we're picky eaters, so we really didn't get to try it (it had vegetables in it and we don't eat veggies lol).

We ordered Adobo Nanban (black bowl) and Beef Pares Omurice (?). I forgot the exact names, but they are mixed dishes of local filipino food and western/other asian dishes. A must try! The mix is very interesting.

We also tried their shoestring (which was very crispy and the dip was delicious), matcha latte, and caramel matcha. The matcha's were so goood. Just a bit sweet but I think you can request yours to be less sweet.

The ambience of the cafe was very calming. There were a few customers with us but the space was still quiet. There are board games available to play and books to read while you're waiting for your food.

We visited in August 2025 and they told us we're getting 20% off since they're trying out new dishes pa. Visit them now!

We arrived past lunch. The place is great but I saw the lack of staff to attend to our needs. However, the food came fast. The taste was so-so. Drinks were really good. Also, since there’s only one tonkatsu left, we ordered it then the rest was buttered chicken. Buttered chicken tastes ok, tonkatsu was fine, too. Hoping there’s notice about what mains were left when we just arrived. It’s only 1:30 pm that time. 😭 C.R was quite clean ig, and the place is really aesthetic and really love the vibes of the café. Love the food and affordable price worth it. First time I tasted buttered chicken similar with the one I always eat in little india in Singapore, my wife likes the laksa although its more than like a tom yam soup due to some missing components but the spice level is on point. The burger my daughter likes and the coffee and non coffee drinks are a delight. We will certainly come back to this...
