The Matzip Korean Restaurant — Restaurant in Kalibo

We really enjoyed the samgyupsal here, and the marinated pork was definitely a highlight. However, we did encounter a few issues that took away from our overall experience.

When we were seated at the long table with our group of six, it was a bit challenging to share the one grilling pan and single set of side dishes. We had to reach over the table to access the side dishes, which wasn't the most convenient setup. And because there was only one set, we went through them quickly and had to ask for refills multiple times.

The service was also a bit inconsistent. Our servers seemed a bit preoccupied and didn't always make eye contact, which made it hard for us to get their attention when we needed something.

Unfortunately, the comfort room was a major letdown. It was unclean and not exactly what we'd expect at a restaurant. Given the prices, we were hoping for a bit more in terms of cleanliness and overall service.

Despite these issues, the food was definitely a strong point. With a bit more attention to logistics for larger groups and some tweaks to the service, this place could really shine. We hope they take our feedback to heart and make some...

Matzip restaurant in kalibo is a great korean resto owned by koreans. We tried their beef bulgogi which is very good. We also recommend the pumpkin pancake - very very tasty. Spicy chicken with cheese, (a little curry taste) which is good with rice.

Overall, place is good and the owner is very friendly. Recommended if you crave for korean...

Had lunch here earlier. We ordered tteokbokki and kimbap. It's our first time eating tteokbokki and we're already loving it! 1 order of tteokbokki cost P400.00 and it's good for 2 person. But for us, my sister and I, it's too much! We took the rest at home and ate it for dinner. Haha!
