Went here for the 1st time around 6pm for dinner. We ordered the Mixed Grill Platter,Cheese Quesadilla and Sangria.
Ambiance/Place: The place is clean and the air conditioned dining area was just right. But the couches/leather seats can be improved as some parts have already peeled off. You might get scratched if you're wearing shorts or skirt.
Service: I hoped the servers have nameplates for easier call out whenever we need something.
Food: First served to us was the Cheese Quesadilla. It was still hot, the sauce and the salsa with it goes really well. Highly recommended as an appetizer. We ordered a Mixed grill platter for us 2 pax diner. The steak, ribs and chicken were warm. It's like it's been sitting waiting to be served for a period. Although we could have asked it to be reheated. But we were hungry. The Java rice was good, but the lime rice (I forgot the name) was too dry. The sauce for the chicken was really good though. We also ordered the Sangria, but it was to bitter...
Read moreBy far the worst dining experience we ever had. We ordered 9 bottomless margarita and was only charged with 7. Considering the number of our orders and our bill was almost 10k, we did not bother to check since we are willing to pay anyway. Then the waitress approached us saying “maam, napansin po ng waiter namin na 9 po yung bottomless nyo e 7 lang po yung napunch” as if it was our fault. Parang scammer pa kami. We paid for the 2 unpunched drinks and when asked if we will be charged for the service fee, she said yes. My friend said “hindi naman namin yun fault” since we got no apologies and as if kasalanan namin. We approached the manager and the latter apologized, but again, we felt like the negligence on their part was our fault. They even laughed and mocked us when we left the resto. The problem should have been resolved and...
Read moreWe went to this place yesterday. The ambiance was great. We dove into shrimp, steak, and chicken fajitas that were sizzling and delicious. Only gripe? The corn tortillas came in threes, which instantly turned us into fajita gladiators fighting over the last one. Add a fourth tortilla and world peace might just break out at our table. 🌮✌️ The Filipino-style sour cream, more liquid than its American cousin, kept things interesting. Visitors, don’t be surprised if your sour cream pours instead of plops.
The beef quesadilla was on the dry side, like it had been through a taco desert without a water bottle.
All told, Agave is a tasty stop for fajita fans—just bring a friend who’s...
