Good thing you’re reading reviews before you dine around D.Mall because in our part we didn’t and we have to pay P2,250+ for eating two mediocre main dishes. We ordered the seafood platter and butter-garlic crab. On their menu picture, the platter was bountiful with big mussels and clams but they served us a few tiny pieces of sea shells and we were dissatisfied as soon as they served it. The waitress even explained to us that they put many (8pcs) small mussels to justify their menu picture. And I was like “whut?!!” Quality over quantity. The crab was so dry and floating on top of 2 cups of melted butter. When we removed the crab shell, the inside was just full of Garliccccc. Man, at that point I lost it. When I finally took the bill/payment, they charged me a bottle of beer that they didn’t even handed to me. I really wanted to support local Boracay businesses but the quality of their food was just expensive and mediocre at best. I paid P2,500 for two people, that was equivalent to 5x dinner buffet! Just go across their resto and eat super cheap and delicious Mang...
Read moreI'm a Filipino and love to indulge in different foods from different origins and while I still cant fly to other countries, establishments like Ole helps me to have a taste of what other countries have. Their food was so phenomenal! We have Spanish and Mexican restaurants in Iloilo too but Ole elevates my palate with their flavorful dishes! The crew were very intuitive and helpful, and would help us when we didn't know what food was offered. I appreciate it a lot when the staff themselves have the initiative to help. The atmosphere was such vibe! People from all walks of life were there enjoying the food. Like an oasis, people come in from all directions, looking for a good meal and Ole delivers it. We had the sangria, seafood paella, tacos, and more! If your looking food amazing Spanish, Mexican, and/or Cuban food while in Boracay, Ole at D mall is the best spot...
Read moreThis Mexican restaurant is located on the famous D'Mall walking street, making it easy to find as it's right on the main road. We ordered the popular seafood paella and the Filipino sour soup, sinigang. They are generous with the ingredients, as the seafood paella is packed with mussels, squid, shrimp, ham, and chicken / pork. However, this Mexican dish was not to my liking based on my personal taste. While we also ordered the Filipino sour soup - sinigang, which tastes great when served hot.
However, in terms of pricing, it’s slightly expensive. We spent more than 1,800 PHP for the two dishes, but the portions are quite large. Both of us were unable to finish them. Additionally, the restaurant is equipped with air...
