Tra Vinh Authentic Vietnamese Noodles — Restaurant in Quezon City

The Cloverleaf branch is the worst. We were 8 in the group, food slowly came one by one, until all of my companions have finished their meals & mine hasn’t even been served yet. I followed up several times, until finally I complained to the lady behind the counter but she didn’t seem to care at all. So I just cancelled my order and we paid and left. No way I’m going to complain & then eat what they will serve. So its better to leave without eating. Since I was the only one who hasn’t eaten, we just went to the fast food and that’s where I got my dinner. I do commend the waitress & the waiter busily taking orders & they were working so hard to serve all the customers needs (except mine.) The lady behind the counter should at least help take orders but she didn’t. If she’s the owner, she doesn’t love her business. I’m definitely not going back. No comment about the food because I didn’t get...

we came back today to give it another try. Food is still ok. But we came in dry and left with our shirt neck soaked in sweat. It's uncomfortably hot. And our noodle soup is not even spicy.

Posted nine months ago: Ordered No meat noodle soup, chicken noodle soup, braised beef rice, pomelo salad, and ice tea in pitcher. The noodle soup is good and tasted clean. We finished the soup in 30mins and asked what happened to the salad and Beef rice. The server came back to say that the Braised Beef is out of stock and asked us to replace the order. We asked for Lemongrass chicken and followed up the pomelo salad. The Chicken rice is served after 15mins and the salad still no where on our table. After a long wait the Pomelo salad is served in time for dessert. Hayyy. And it doesn't end there, our bill included a BBQ rice meal we didn't order....

The Tra Vinh special was a bit of a disappointment I actually ate only a third of it. There was chicharon flakes floating which I didn't like. A batchoy would've been better. The liver tasted uncooked. The vegetarian spring roll tasted like the veggies weren't washed well. My friend said the beef combination was good though. The Coffee was good although the service staff wrongly gave us the coffee. My order was regular strength and my friend was strong which the waiter specified but switched. We only realized after my friend poured the coffee into the glass with ice and drank it. Service was non-existent despite very few customers. No water was served and the place has an aircon but it doesn't seem to be working, there was a fan though. Will I still give it a try? Probably yes but I'll make sure to order other things....
