Sweet&Sour Cafe Bar — Restaurant in Krakow

We came here on 18th of April (yesterday) fairly in the morning. The interior looks great, the menu as well. We ordered everything and waited at least 15-20 minutes for our drinks. Just drinks. The blond lady behind the bar started doing our coffees only after 10 minutes after ordering, meanwhile she was chatting with someone. The cappuccino we got was horrendous. The milk was not steamed properly, full of bubbles and just looking as if we got from a gas station. Maybe consider paying your baristas a training. The matcha was good tho.

I ordered turkey eggs and let me tell you I was horrified. They came out completely COLD — the bowl, the yogurt and the eggs were the exact same ice cold temperature as if they were just taken out of the fridge. I immediately went to tell the staff but since my polish is very basic I couldn’t properly hold a conversation (which is fine, I don’t expect staff to accommodate me in a foreign country language wise - they knew basic phrases so this was fine) so the girls tried to tell me the eggs were supposed be cold because the yogurt was cold….like I’m a child and I haven’t worked in kitchen and I don’t know how fresh eggs taste like. (We went to restaurant next door the next day and surprise, I got the same thing and their eggs were steaming when I cut them) please don’t serve over night food. That was properly disgusting. On top of that I got two pieces of bread - one of them was old and I almost couldn’t chew it and the other one was nice and fresh. I’m really wondering who makes your food because you should really re-think about who you’re hiring. Or if it’s the owners order to cut food cost (as it is many cases) I hope they read this and rethink their decision.

There were two of the girls at that moment - one with a blonde hair (nicer one) and one with black hair - extremely unpleasant lady and I hope I don’t ever meet a person like her. They started arguing in polish about my complain as if I wasn’t there.

It’s truly wonderful place with extremely nice stuff, especially the waiter Julia! She was so kind and attentive to all our wishes that it made our time there even more adorable. Moreover, the dishes are delicious and portions are really big. There was a wide variety of vegan dishes as well as for the meat lovers. I would like also to admit, the cocktails are delicious with an adequate price. The outlook of this place is absolutely astonishing! Very cozy atmosphere and absolutely lovely interior! Last but not least, that might be funny, but I was impressed by the women wc, as there were all the stuffs you may need for any cases. That is absolutely adorable to have a place to visit that cares of women. In all, I would definitely recommend this place and for sure I will visit it again in the nearest future. Atmosphere - 5 stars The atmosphere is fantastic - dimly lit, stylish, and trendy. It's the perfect place to go for a night out with friends or a special occasion with a date.

Bar - 5 stars The bar is great - they have a wide selection of cocktails to choose from, and the bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. The cocktails are also very well-made.

Food - 3.5 stars The food is good, but not great. They have a creative menu of small plates, but the prices are a bit high. I would recommend eating somewhere else before or after coming to this bar.

Overall, I would highly recommend this bar to anyone looking for a great place to drink. Just be prepared to spend a bit of money...
