Cafetaria Santa Luzia — Restaurant in Viana do Castelo

I stopped at this place during my bike trip. The covered terrace was full of local people and the food looked really good. The crew ignored me during 10- 15min. I tried to make eye contact without any success. The old man yelled at me, but I didn’t understand (I don’t speak Portuguese). I went inside to ask what the problem is and if it’s possible to eat something. The older lady could speak some French, and said I can’t make pictures (I didn’t made any… I was preparing the rest of my trip on my phone). I said this was a misunderstanding. She said that I have to wait if I want to eat. She has no time for me… I felt they preferred I leave. They don’t like foreigners I think… Those people were not welcoming, rude and disrespectful. I left this horrible place full of negativity. It is so sad to experience this...

Ich habe über dieses Caffe Santa Luzia schon Rezension gelesen. Als wir das erste Mal um 13h30 gekommen sind, hat uns die Besitzerin weg geschickt, weil sie ausverkauft war. Kein Menü war übrig. Wir haben für den nächsten Tag um 12h reserviert. Es war ausgezeichnet. Die Portionen sind sehr groß! Das Menü umfasst 1. Suppe, 2. Hauptspeise- Fisch oder Fleisch, 3. Dessert - Kuchen oder ein Schnitt von der Melone. Wir haben 2 kleine Bier gehabt. Preis 14€ für alles! Die Qualität ist hervorragend! Das Ambiente ist ganz einfach. Die Frau spricht nur Portugiesisch und Französisch. Das ist ein Ehepaar: der Mann ist Koch, sie serviert. Es kommen viele Leute aus der Gegend, nur am SA war weniger Besucher, sonst muss man pünktlich um 12 kommen oder...

No dia 12 Ag. 2022 estive mais de uma hora e meia a espera da refeição. A cozinha estava um caos, a sala/salão/esplanada improvisada cheia , e poucos clientes servidos. Um verdadeiro caos e uma vergonha para o sector no nosso país. Além de desaconselhar deveriam ser proibidos de servir refeições e focarem se apenas em tirar cafés e servir bebidas porque obviamente para nada mais são capazes. De realçar que abandonei o restaurante antes que me servissem, portanto o tempo de espera seria maior que uma...
