âOne bite, straight to dialysis.â đ
Noodles House is one of my favorite restaurants in Doha. We dine there quite oftenâtwo, three, or even four times a monthâand our go-to orders are always the Prawn Pad Thai and the Singaporean Laksa noodles. However, today, after work, we went to Noodles House at City Center for a late lunch, and for the first time, I was disappointed with my favorite dishes. Both the Pad Thai and the Laksa were overly salty, and even the staff noticed that the Laksa soup was much creamier than usual.
I understand it was a busy time, and the chef might have been tired, but when I requested the staff to modify the overly salty soup, they insisted that this was their standard recipe. While I appreciated the Filipino staff memberâs professionalismâhe even offered me another soup option from the menu. Since, I only came for these two dish, in the end, I simply asked them to add a bit of water to tone down the overly...
Read moreDO NOT RECCOMEND. This restaurant was a very disappointing experience to say the least. We were very excited to experience some authentic noodle flavors but 90 percent of the food we tried was absolutely flavorlous, like inedible. The worst ones Were the chicken katsu, which was incredibly dry, with the smallest amount of sauce that didn't taste good at all, and the chicken itself was so dry it was a pain to chew. The second dish that utterly disappointed was the "authentic" shoyou ramen which was again, a very small portion and I am not exaggerating, it was noodles in hot water with not a single flavour. It didn't even taste like it had any SALT. We were so baffled. The staff was very kind though, and they replaced one of the dishes without a hassle. We replaced it with the stir fry teriyaki beef which was good, but it honestly didn't fix the other bad dishes. Overall the expensive price is not worth the...
Read morei had my 2 spoon of salad and 1 spring roll, and when i am about to take my main course, the buffet line was alr gone. It would be great if the waiter could inform the guest before the buffet line is taken away.
The staff didn't even approach to offer me food / menu even though they noticed me (intold the staff i jz had only salad and spring roll from the buffet line, not even started the main course).Until I asked the staff after 7mins, what can they offer. They offered me budgets, rice, noodle, spring roll and sushi. I asked for those except rice and nuggets.
At last, the staff served me sushi, salads, spring roll and he said the pasta will be served once it is ready. However, the pasta never come even after 45mins.
Appreciate the service, but I believe it can be much better. Thank...
