I came here two months ago with friends and we enjoyed the food and atmosphere very much . The customer service back then was amazing and this actually prompted me to come back the second time. I came around 6:30pm on Friday and I was actually appalled by the terrible and overtly differential customer service. After, waiting in the restaurant for a few minutes, one host approached us to request what we needed. Then another host immediately informed us that there were people ahead of us. However, whilst there within few minutes or so those people were seated upstairs. I found it odd so I actually confronted the host and asked why the couple who had just arrived after few was attended to before us. Nevertheless, we were dismissed. After bringing it to his attention, he seated us. By this point we had been waiting for good 30 mins. When we came upstairs, there was an area where family were seated with their kids. Kids were running around and some were seated with their maids. I categorically informed them that we did not want to be seated in that particular area and that we wanted to be seated in the front as it was not as busy as they made it out to be. For whatever reason I felt they did not want us seated in the front. ( I know discrimination when I see one). They slyly told us to follow the host, and I told the waiter I did not want a place where kids were running around everywhere. I wanted to eat in peace. We felt we were not listened to as they just brushed us off and I felt manipulated ( in hindsight I should have just left . In all the countries I’ve been in, I’ve never felt this way; hence why I’m giving this place a review. I don’t want to assume negative feelings regarding the people at this restaurant and I hope their actions were with the right intent. The food was ok not as good as the last time I came. The calamari did not taste fresh; it was rubbery and weird texture and so was the jumbo tiger prawns. The rocket salad was good as well as the sayidiyah rice. We felt wronged hence this review- I’m all about fairness regardless of the stature or status of a person. I don’t think I will come back nor recommend this place to friends and family when they come for visit and umrah as they only prefer their kinfolks. I have to say not all the hosts behaved negatively. The host that served us last time recognized me and was really polite and nice. I wish he attended us from the beginning as he knew how to take care of...

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at this exceptional seafood restaurant, and I must say, the food was truly superb. The shrimp dishes were a highlight, particularly the almarakbhy soup, which was rich, flavorful, and expertly prepared. But what truly made our experience stand out was the outstanding service provided by Beko, whose attentiveness and warm hospitality made us feel right at home. From start to finish, BEKO ensured that our needs were met with a smile, elevating our dining experience to new heights. To complement our meal, we enjoyed refreshing glasses of hibiscus juice and indulged in delicious ice cream for dessert. Overall, this seafood restaurant is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking exceptional cuisine and...
