The restaurant is neat and a bit fancy with a nice location. You’d have to make a reservation before going if you prefer eating indoors (which we have tried but unfortunately they were not picking up). The food is actually average (and expensive), for an iftar menu that’s lacking variations to cater to different tastes and preferences. I didn’t enjoy the drinks as much as the appetizers served in general. I recommend their salads and hummus, they were good to be honest. As for the main dishes… I’m not sure if they were special. I will have to try their dinner menu some other day but as for iftar this was my experience. Also, there were no proper areas to pray .. when we asked where we can pray after iftar the employees told us to go into a door and there were men praying and we are girls… very unprofessional of them. We had to leave the restaurant to find a place to pray then come back. I hope they provide a small...
Read moreVisited Goodies recently and I have to say, it left a very good impression. The interior is beautifully done with a modern yet welcoming touch. Everything from the lighting to the layout has clearly been thought through and it makes for a very comfortable dining atmosphere.
The service was excellent. Staff were polite, attentive and genuinely seemed to care about the experience. It was refreshing not having to chase anyone down for anything.
As for the food, it was solid. We had a variety of dishes and everything was well cooked and presented. The mixed grill in particular stood out, though the portion sizes could have been a little more generous. Still, the quality was certainly there.
Overall, Goodies is a lovely spot. Whether you are out with friends or having a quiet meal, it ticks all the boxes. I would happily return and recommend it to others looking for a quality meal in a well run setting. Slightly...
Read moreA fantastic Lebanese restaurant offering a wide variety of dishes, including salads, soups, appetizers, main courses, and desserts. I recently tried the kibbeh nayyeh, and it was absolutely delicious—stuffed with walnuts, adding a delightful crunch!
However, I wasn’t completely satisfied with the fattoush this time. It tasted different from before, possibly due to a change in the dressing or ingredients. The French fries lacked crispiness, which was disappointing. Another issue was the cheese rolls—they’ve become significantly smaller compared to other restaurants and even their previous portions. As for the grilled fish, it was quite disappointing; it had bones, whereas it used to be boneless before. This change was particularly frustrating and made me reconsider returning to Goodies. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed a decline in food quality with each visit.
It’s also a shame that they no longer...
